Hey mate, the Turbo train doesn't have reverse any longer!! Once i go forward i must keep going and take a few hits along the way. Lol
All jokes aside and not that I care, but surely SS would be the highest paid in this division? I can't think of a player in div2 with a better playing resume over the last 5 years. Good pick up!!

Ease up there champ. If you read my earliest posts about Saad you will notice I acknowledged what a star he has been over the years. My points were twofold: 1. Old 2. Angry. Turbs has subsequently indicated the standard of div 2 isn't at the level he has been playing, so my point about being old may not be so relevant. Hopefully my second point regarding his temper doesn't cost you later this year.
ps. Smart coaches would never play a small back on him. Saad is far to good in the air for a small back. You need the fastest tall defender you have.

any news on the search for a new coach at burnside ?
i had the chance to watch burnside and the jags
they let Micheal evens and Wolfgang run free do what ever they liked there was no game plan , no moves where made to a least try and score !
they need big changes !

Club didn't get rid of Raff he bailed out himself
Very over rated coach anyway mostly by himself .
As for the game plan things don't change overnight or in two weeks in particular when it's basically the same coaching group bar Raff.
The fact there is no game plan says more about the last two years than the last two weeks
One thing we agree on is they are miles off the pace of even the bottom teams in div 2

there where a few good players for Burnside but surley they wont stay if your getting belted weeke in week out ?
these so called recurits ? have they made any impact at all ?

Three coaches in three seasons... And essentially three different playing groups.
Club might need to start retaining some of their best junior players, adding some talented recruits instead of just numbers and get a good coach. Might start from there...

Yes, correct CD smashed by injuries, the big area of improvement is the mids and the ruckman they have picket up, saad is also a great pick up, allows lucin to spend more time in the middle and they don't have to rely on him kicking 50 goals a season. This week will we see how things go as CD tall forwards are all out. Can saad follow up one out in the forward line again?
