EDFL Division 2 2016

I'm only looking as an outsider Outback, but yes players not going there for nothing. It seems like all or nothing!! How will they go with the points?

Tarczon will kill it in div2. I've seen him play only a few games but would be close to the best recruit in this division for a while. Strongly built kid who will be hard to stop if they have enough around him. If true I'm really struggling to understand why he would play div2 as his clearly capable of playing higher.
Dylan Tarczon is unlikley to front up for East Sunbury as he has signed a VFL contract with Coburg & that is his first priority.
He has signed for them as a local club, which all VFL listed players are required to do.

Fair post burgs i agree with Turbo no disrespect to ES but that lad can play would play premier if he is as tough and hard as his old man he will go well. Great to see young blokes having a crack at VFL

Obviously Coburg will be his primary priority and where he will play for the most part of the year I'd assume. Serious talent.

Will most likely play at ES during bye rounds and when not picked in VFL seniors. Exceptional pickup for the young club.

Wonder if the old man will get to the games. Look out for him!! Darren was a bloody good player. If still in reasonable shape could he sit in the forward pocket? Haha.

Young Dylan is tough to from what I seen, but probably less likely to jump the fence.. Lol

Ah memories of the old days!!

Don't see how a vfl club would let someone nominate a div 2 club as there home club

I agree, they're best to nominate a Premier or Divy 1 club- way better standard and will get a lot more out of it- even though it aint too much a big deal as they're only going to play a couple of games with that side.

To be honest VFL clubs don't care what local team you play for. Just as long as you have a club you can play with.

Actually they do care what club you nominate. As if they have a bye they would want you playing a good standard of footy close to vfl level. Vfl clubs have knocked back players attempts at nominating a div 2 club before.

Spot on, they do care. Just as long as the player isn't playing in the clubs reserves/under 18s.
The clubs football managers want them to find a club where they're playing in their preferred position and getting the adequate amount of game time.
Need to improve their match fitness somehow, and that aint gonna happen playing third tier Senior EDFL footy!

Harley shot to cragieburn big loss for Roxy !!!

east sunbury and burnside have a few new players
Burnside have lost quite a few... Their clearances just aren't up yet

Looks like east Sunbury might be looking at affair bit of improvement... Definitely tracking in the right direction

Oh c'mon lets get this straight knowitall. If a VFL player is dropped for poor form or coming back from injury the VFL club will usually send someone out to the game to watch the player. But they won't attend a div2 game as want to see them performing or doing certain things at the required standard.
If however the player is a definite regular VFL player and is "allowed" by the club to play for his local club, then it probably won't matter. This doesn't happen much!
Some clubs don't even allow them to play local unless it's due to being dropped or they didn't get a spot.

Also lets keep in mind if the player is only at development level there is a few byes due to a low number of teams, but still clubs won't let there better players play local.

I think it must vary from club to club because I know of a couple of VFL clubs that let their players play in district leagues etc when not required at the higher level.

As long as you are playing regular senior footy with your local club. Doesn't matter standards. I've been involved with a few VFL clubs that was there thinking

Have they won the Powerball jackpot Turbo? Some very handy ins especially if Sarkis & Fab are playing there. Even without those 2 they will be very hard to top.

I've heard that Fab and Sarkis have been shopping themselves around quite a bit. Wonder if CD were the highest bidders?

Think it will be pretty open this year Keillor park going right under the rader from what I've heard have recruited some quality players I know there coming from a long way back but think that will be top 3
