i cant see jacana not making the finals tho? even without cloke. surely with how many players they recruited.

So you make finals based on how many players you recruit ?
If that's the case cd would played finals every year.
Some people on hear haven't really talked up there other signings ? Are they actually senior players that can impact or make a difference ?

I have no idea who they have recruited, but someone mentioned on this forum that they took 10 + players from craigieburn. So one can assume you only recruit to get 'better'....
surely the jags didnt go and get 10 + spud players (resserves) from craigieburn.... excluding where else they recruited from...
i dont know who runs cd, but they screw there roster up each year..

As an in an under mid and probably one of the most devoted blokes in the comp he is going to catch the umpires eyes.
If it was all his fault that hes been moving clubs surely a team as respected as moonee valley wouldnt even look at taking him on board.

Can't be 3-4. His already 3 for changing clubs then gets 2 points for 2 clubs in 2 years. Then 1 point for same division. That's 6 points just there. Depending on b and f results it could be more.

Not sure about b&f , but expect Louie to have a huge year & my reasoning is this ; 1st yr in this division where he doesn't hold a coaching position at a club , which means he can just concentrate on his own football. Will be one of best mids on comp & there are some really good ones in this comp. points don't matter as I'm sure MV have considered that.
Jacana with or without Cloke will be right up there , reasoning on this is; nearly all have done a full pre season so would expect them to be further improved than where they were 2 seasons ago , haven't lost much since then & added a few..
Talk of Roxys demise , ridiculous .. put Mernda to bed in first 20mins of game. Still a few to return as well ,Reda , Fauzi , Swedic , Hamaz etc
Moonee valley with some quality ins , think Coburg may have got their recruitment right finally , McGill one of the best defenders in comp last 3yrs.
Saints unknown at this stage & by sounds of it are pretty young.
not much recruitment news in or out of sunbury yet. Except Ogilvie.
KP & burnside bottom 2.
Young Ryan Mcaillef at Roxy looking really good - tall , mobile , great leap , good hands & kicks goals , biggest improver in comp imo..
Think top4 will be Roxy , jacana , MV , Coburg & all can win it.

Loui is a loss for roxy guy always give his 110% best and always tried to encourage others week in week out unlucky for Roxy Loui left Grant stayed all tho i hear he is no longer the captain

About the same as last season there have been some big losses Capuano,Loui,Mcgill but there has been some very good ins Elliot Farrelly Dalpiaz and Potter from Avondale are really the only notable ones but there all great pickups and the only ones worth mentioning, Capuano will be the biggest loss more so then Dimech or Mcgill there will be a drop mid season when some of the senior group go over seas but really there is only 2 maybe 3 of them that will be massive losses the rest are easily replaced with whats in the 19s and even the reserves i expect finals/grand finals for all 3 teams like what has been said above

Hes stepped on nearly everybodies 'toe's' over the past three years with the clubs he has played at!
So its very possible he could be still doing it at MV
People dont change in nature overnight...
