That bloke missed out on a flag in 2013 by a few points, won the 2014 flag and had the respect of all his players. Not bad for a bloke who doesn't know how to coach.

I know a guy who coach me at hadfied under 18s who put in for job at mooney valley he has got the under 18s to 4 grand finals won 2 loss 2 and he put in for coaching job and bidnt even get a interview I know for a fact been told so I would of gone there if he was coach and I know of more that would of came with him he has work with young players more than punky he coach one of players i playedcwith for quite awhile to back to back edfl best and fairest medals mooney valley missed out on a very good coach
So to the president of mooney valley if a bloke puts in for the coaching job give him a interview at least
ps you missed out on a very good coach who I rate better than punky who I have seen coach president of mooney valley will have a lot to answer for if it doesnt work out

Spot on. Anyone that applies should get an interview. You right, third coach in 3 years. The president will have a lot to answer for if this doesn't work.

Anyone that applies should get an interview? Really? You'd pick the best 3-10 applicants depending on the level A, B, C grade and have the courtesy of letting those unsuccessful know just that...
Why waste time when every interview would or should go for an hour...

After the comments been made on here re this new coach at MV maybe they should have interviewed everyone or maybe the coaches aren't the problem

I'm pretty sure with all Div 3 clubs you need to lower the bar a bit with expectations as clearly they are there because they lack in many areas that Div 1 and 2 clubs don't. Moonee Valley is a good example of a club that clearly has dropped the ball over the years having once been an A Grade club, so they no doubt have their issues but clearly you have some issues with the club...

No issues or alliance to the club, but have a look at the last few years. Coaches seems to be going through a revolving door.

But that's always going to happen at a lower legal club no club would want a coach to stay there if they aren't moving up to the next div it's simple they want someone who can take them there and if they can't do it then get someone who will
I would have also gone down to MV and played next season but I don't want to play under there current 2s coach

You don't seem to like any coaches at Moonee valley coach me. You sure it's not the club you don't like?? Their Twos lost and won a premiership, surely a good team to join regardless of who coaches

What's the ins and outs of all clubs
I see on a post in prem div the young moonee valley boy Tyson Edwards is on the move to apw if so big loss for the club again after young gun Luke Ryan went to marby last season what do these div 2 clubs have to do to keep there young guns while trying to get out of div 2

Bit of a catch 22. These young guns want to play at the highest level they can, yet for clubs like Moonee Valley to get to Div 1/ Prem Div they need these guys to be playing.
It's harder when you can't match these bigger clubs financially too.

It's not the club or the players I do believe that you need to like the coach to play under him but I was told today that the club are going to part way with him anyway as some players don't want to play under him

I have been reading this for a while and feel compelled to right a response. I have played under the valley 2s coach down at valley and I must say he is a VERY good bloke who always has the players best intrest at heart and respect of all players he has coached. To say he cant coach is very miss informed as I played in a q/f where we got beaten buy over 25 goals and then in the g.f only lose by two goals 2 weeks later. We had some big ins but to keep the players faith in him and in the gameplan is huge.

So before u go potting this bloke from your big footy account, just think that ur utter bullshit that you talk could tarnish his name, buy the way u dont even no the bloke so how can u comment? Personally if he does not coach the 2s next year I wish him best of luck for whatever he does as its hard to find good reserves coach but a sad loss as he is a great bloke.

You said you had a friend in the seniors at MV. It seems that this friend has an issue with the resi coach and is feeding you this false info.
Maybe he should concentrate on his own team. Seniors need to win the gf for the club to move up. Resi and U18 have proved they can do it.

pre season is almost upon us, i know abit about hadfield and i also know that Jack Wallace and Josh Ksiazek have signed at mernda FC, couple of hawks boys on the out but hopefully not too hard to fill there spots, wallace arguably their best player for the first half of the year this year.

Mal Michael to play 8 games with jacana next season with good mate Chris Johnson

False. Considering he's coaching next year at another club. I think you need to check your sources and facts, as the credibility of most of your posts is laughable.

On Moonee Valley, one would think that they would have the goal of moving up this year, obviously they have the depth, with some good youth coming through, as shown by their strong Reserves and U/18 successes, now they just need some good top end senior players to push them the step further. Hopefully this can happen under Peter Gleisner, an experienced player and coach.

I have also played under him yeah he is a very good coach but sometimes makes a few mistakes I will only post good things about the 2s coach from no on as a few mates have got stuck into me about all this shit about the club

Also Jay Featherstone and Abdul Mustafa on the way up the road to the roys another two very handy players joining Steve Golding. Abdul winning back to back best in comps in the 18s, kid has a bright future and has left the hawks nest. Jack Wallace there leading goal kicker in the first half would of prob kicked 50 odd goals if he played out the season thats a major blow as he was co captain along with Raaf. As for Josh Ksiazek, there main defender who took the best foward week in week out and held his own all year, you would think two big holes to fill with these blokes leaving.

Goes to show that a coach means everything haddy I will be going to roys too lost a gun players in abbz back to back medalist and back to back best and fairest at haddy
your lost but I wish you, s all the best for 2015

The all about me generation again... Whilst it may be a 'loss', you guys are quite possibly soft in heart and mind and at 18 years of age are probably not the be all and end all of players going around... You're not the most important people in the world and you are replaceable... Goodbye kids.
