to tell you the truth mate i couldnt give a s**t about roxy park. i was only commenting on some players that i have played on, against and know from the WRFL . thats all!! Every club should be excited about there youth in their clubs ..becuase that is what keeps local clubs alive ! and like Roxy park i think every club should be more excited about talented kids coming up rather than has beens and players chasing the $$$$ - Those kids still play for the love of the game and i think there are alot of senior footballers out there in all leauges that have forgotten what that is about !

bangitlong... you are dead right about young players. when we are young all we care about is playing with your mates and having a laugh. as they say it is still pure. but we all grow up and as we do so does the competition as it gets more professional. money is just a fact of life for senior football. it is necessary to keep the standards high. Nobody forgets about why they used to play football, we just accept that this is the way of life when footy becomes serious and not just something else to talk about in the school yard.

money is necessary to keep standards high there is no doubt in that. and there are alot of senior footballers that still play for the pure love of chasing the pill around a park whilst getting some coin. However there are alot of cowboys that chase the bucks and dont care about the footy or the club (eg: aaron james). I just think that clubs should get a bit more excited about there prospects in the 18's rather than a 30 something has been that needs 12 ops ! lol
