I tell you what Super, dont think it matters who has gone where in A Grade - they will all have to improve by 10-15 goals to get near strathmore. Douttas, Keilor and Greenvale obvious dangers again - but still a little early.
In saying this, by the sounds of the recruiting going on, both A & B grade look to be closing the gap on each other, especially the top 5 in B and the bottom 5 in A.
By the sounds of it, Keilor Park will have 18 new players for their first game in 2007 and thats after some officials said they would never go down that path of recruiting heaps of players. Spose you have to if they want to compete with Douttas, Greenvale and the like. They were terrible this year.

yeh agree litening the mores way out in front , at least keilor and greenvale are taking it to them . as I say if douttas dont find anything it probably puts them back into a spot that the clubs outside the 4 are looking for

I heard a whisper this morning that the funds at Greenvale are drying up and some of the supporters are not happy with some of the money been thrown at a few over rated players who have been there a few years, no names were mentioned and the source isnt to reliable but can anyone add to this?

Apparently Copock and Jack Scott were hotly pursued by WC, but both never had interest in moving.
Not sure Beefy Boonie! Maybe one of them is Callum Chambers but I'm not 100% sure.

Doutta's will be good don't worry about that. They are very quiet though. Still chasing lots of people. Have finally kept all their players. Ramsay, Hollow and Joey did a great PR job with all that self made "speculation". Good luck to them their gun players. Davidson is there and maybe another former pie draftee.
Word is Strathmore have signed Read and Callan Beasey draft permitting. Some say it's Callum Chambers but I think its Doering's Bendigo team mate Beasey. Everyone knows Doering. Quinn has been offered a fortune at Werribee. Maybe that's why their after Beasey. Can only hope. Strathmore say he's signed though. Lindsay is gone so is Hoath. Stormont is down Geelong way. Daley, Morro and Ogston may go as well which would be a blow. They are still awesome and the three peat looks odds on.
Greenvale have signed 3 definately. Haven't lost much at all and had basically half a team out by finals time last year. Will be dissapointing if they don't make the four.
Keilor everyone knows about. Brown is not going back though. Be up there challanging Straty and Doutta's.

A little birdy has told me that Greenvale are throwing everthing plus the kitchen sink at Anthony Stevens ex North Melbourne tough nutt to pull the boots on. The club see it as a massive money making skeem. From what i have been told is that they have had discussions with Douttas to make sure that both Carey and Stevens play against each other at both home games. If this is to happen you could only imagine the crowds....
