Started this week. Doing the same running & strength program as last year based on weeks. Worked last year and the season start is later this year which has been taken into account

there is not a chance in heall spotty or colts would come close to strathmore. having experienced both leagues and teams there is a big gap there. strathmore would have won wrfl premiership last year undefeated with their eyes closed. sure games against colts and spotty would have been good contests but strathmore or greenvale would come over the top by the 4th quarter and run away with it. alot of class in those two sides. not denying that colts and spotty are great teams or anything cos they are, just greenvale and strathmore are better

I no its only early into training, but how are teams grounds looking. Are Strathmore still getting there ground redeveloped this year. (if so do we no where they will be playing)

Think played there last year prior to the WRFL season and sustained an ijury that stopped him from playing the first few at Colts.
Will be a star for the Jets and should kick minimum 60.
Only chance of getting near Greenvale is destroying them in clearances and hope you have enough firepower up forward.
See - highly unlikely.
The other 9 teams might as well have a year off and save their money and hope Greenvale take up the 17th AFL license and move to the Gold Coast.
No one getting near the Jets in 2008 thru to 2016.

Did Elsum play last year at Douttass. Excuse my ignorance just heard tonight that he is playing at Gisborn next year.
If he didn't play in 07 then doesn't matter.
Also heard he Stars close to getting Gathercole, Knight, Lock and one or two other quality.
Stars will be back up there this year be sure of that.

I agree, in the foreseeable future there is no opposition to Greenvale. Instead of talking about their chances for finals and a tilt at the premiership, clubs are just hoping to avoid relegation.
To think that the EDFL brains trust believe this is a healthy situation.
The only interest is whether Greenvale have an off day on Grand Final day.Very long and boring home and away season.
Lock has signed to play at Eaglehawk. Elsum didn't play last year and will be playing for Gisborne this year
Yeah and the rest are the ones he runs around with thinking that nobody else exists other than The Colts, so that don't count.

Some big signings last week down at BuckleyPark and more to come, I think thats around 8 so far.............sorry for those goons that thought Douttas were going to B grade.Saw Keilor had around 50 on the track last week....30 were under 18's.

6 have sign and a few to go this week.Jimmy(St Albions) and Joey(marbo) have gone,joey will be out for around 10 weeks.Liem Turner wont be clear to Westy as he did sind a new contact last year.......so its up to him to play or stand out of football for 1 year.If the boys are fully fit they will be hard to beat.Lot better than last year,with a bit of luck could not off Greenvale.Not worried about Cashmore because they have no heart.
