Not really sure why there is a lot of negativity towards Marby for the way they are attacking the opportunity they have to play in A Grade. They are doing nothing more or less than the traditionally strong clubs in the EDFL. I am not from the club but good luck to them if this is the approach they are planning to take to be successful. The level of sustainability in this approach is very low which is unfortunate for the stalwarts of the club. It's a shame that from the outside it appears there is no indication that any of this vast amount of money is being put into any kind of junior development which is something for the EDFL to address. Local footy is community footy however there seems to be other motivating factors driving the club. Good luck in 2008.

Joel Reynolds has signed to play in the WAFL, pretty sure the team is East Fremantle not 100% on the team though

What about the young brigade - Watts, May, Robson? Is Midget playing? He was injured most of last year i think so he is basically a recruit for 08 if he's playing?

Tap Tap Tappy, i have noticed in some of your posts you struggle to spell the word ALL.... is this on purpose if so im more than happy to go through some grade prep english spelling with you. We can even start off with the picture dictionary, what ever suits you Tap Tap Tappy....

Hey Tappy, just a question for you. With you having played A Grade in both the EDFL and WRFL which league did you find better and why?
Also, how do you think Chucka Knezevic will go at Albion?

both leagues are good in their own right mate, probably edfl is bit better as it is more even across the teams/clubs.
as for chucka, he should fit in well down there at albion.he's proven himself in the edfl so should handle himself well in wrfl.

Hi all, im first time user, long time reader on the EDFL site. I just want to mention that we (marbi park) cant wait for the start of the season. Its going to be a cracker of a year for us if things go our way.
Also after reading alot of posts the past few weeks i really think that keilor will struggle this year.

By the way - rumour has it that Mick McGuane is close to quitting Keilor?
Very dissatisfied with the amount of numbers appearing at training prior to xmas and has been unable to recruit players from Balwyn!
