EDFL Premier Discussion 2024

I really think the edfl and wrfl need to merge and so do clubs from both leagues. Both leagues are obviously struggling with numbers amongst more than a few clubs and blowout victories across both leagues almost commonplace. Reality is there are far too many clubs within basically a 40 kn radius for the present situation be allowed to continue. Not many clubs have tremendous input from volunteers and it is obvious that most who do the heavy lifting at clubs are on the wrong side of 60. Fair and reasonable discussion on this topic would be appreciated because in my view Metro footy has no more than 10 years left to run if the changes are not made very very soon. The AFL does not care about Metro and country football only the juniors they produce.

I wish the EDFL didn't let your club join.

Just shows the culture that has been set by the hierarchy. oops I mean him LOL. Things get tough they choose the easy option

What happens next year?
Recruiting will be very tough regardless of what division they are in. Looks like they won’t finish last but are probably the club most suited to being relegated.

Terrific to see young Deer Park product and Bulldogs VFL listed player Diesel Moloney making his debut for the bulldogs VFL tomorrow. A quality young man who plays an excellent clean skilled style of football.
The longblow strikes again, no Burley required with this bunch mate!

The lions are Coming......
