From the NFNL Board - “Anyone else spot Nick Okearney (keilor edfl star/ex st kilda draftee! at Reservoir yet to be announced?”

Surely he’s not leaving a premier Div club for Div 3?
If he was leaving the EDFL and Keilor to play in the Northern FL it would be West Preston Lakeside with his ex Parade school mates

Tasmanian State League star with Glenorchy Jaye Bowden has signed at Maribyrnong Park under Brodie Holland. Wouldn’t be coming cheaply I wouldn’t have thought.
And here they come!
Suggest Marby under Brodie won’t be premier easy beats a lot are suggesting…

10 games at Glenorchy in last 5 years. Whoopi do. $200.00 a game would pull him up.

Wouldn’t surprise me, it’s very unlikely they will compete week to week but don’t like their chances. Which Div.1 club would be willing to forego a shot at a Premiership to take promotion ?
I can't see it being a 9 team competition in 2025.
Either way it will be a fixturing headache regardless if it happens with fixtures already released

Any truth to EK requesting a demotion to play div 1 2025?
Here we go, every year there is a rumour like this about some club...
Any truth to EK asking? Possibly EK don't look like fielding a strong side and will most likely struggle in 2025, but I doubt they would ask.
Will the EDFL oblige? Categorically NO. The fixtures are in, they have enough trouble working it out as is, they won't want a bye in both Prem and Div 1 and I couldn't see any Div 1 team putting up their hand to go up on short notice when most would have already allocated their player budget and targeted who they could based on playing in Div 1.

These types tend to go well in edfl premier especially if his still fit which I believe he is.
spot on turbo look at no3 jarred from strathmore
would be 40 odd now at a guess but still presents extremely fit and is used totally outside where is ball use and brain still contributes to so much

Jarad has been very good but also plays in a very good team, would be nowhere near as effective if playing in a lower team

From what I saw last year he’s slowed down quite abit from his form of previous seasons
