Not going to name people?Hearing bigger clubs raping the lower clubs of there junior talent. Cannons & Jets not helping either and it needs to be stamped out and some coaches should be suspended or lose there accreditation.
So how do you work around the points system just get someone to apply to coach a rep team or be involved in a TAC cup team and start recruiting kids from there to change clubs.
What a disgrace!!!!
Just Turbo floating another unfounded thought bubble. Not going to name people?
It’s true mate. It’s an utter disgrace that people connected to these tac cup clubs are influencing players to change clubs to where they are associated with as it gives them a better chance of playing tac cup. It’s not BS mate it’s true. I would love to name clubs but then I’m going to be consumed with defending everything I write as people are in denial. So of the 30 odd ins at EDS how many of these are juniors Turbo? Seems Keilor have been busy taking a few from TL but how many are juniors? Same at SM? I have heard a former AFL player and current prem div premiership coach calls the parents of 13, 14 & 15 yo talent at competing clubs and gives the parents a sales pitch on why they should join his club. It’s true mate. PS: I’m not associated with any affected club but it’s a shame these clubs don’t spend time on developing from within and more focused on poaching young talent with promises.
If you want more evidence just go through the clearance page as I’m sure you will see some juniors around 15-17 changing clubs.
Few leaving Burnside..

Your all over it Donald. Absolute disgrace some of the behavior and methods these people use to influence kids to change clubs at a young age. Some adults should be ashamed. So of the 30 odd ins at EDS how many of these are juniors Turbo? Seems Keilor have been busy taking a few from TL but how many are juniors? Same at SM? If some of those parents are willing to stand up say yes he contacted us, then he deserves to be reprimanded if it is against EDFL rules not to do that. Certainly allows those kids to become 1 point players when they hit senior ranks. So of the 30 odd ins at EDS how many of these are juniors Turbo? And what about the coaching staff at certain TAC cup programs who have a huge influence in persuading young talent that you have better opportunities if you play at club X. That is worse imo.If some of those parents are willing to stand up say yes he contacted us, then he deserves to be reprimanded if it is against EDFL rules not to do that. Respectfully chops, we have spent many thousands of dollars (over $10k) on medical equipment, footballs, merchandise, beers, wine, softdrink, cooking oil, freezable canteen items (like chips/potato cakes/dim sims/etc), plates, chip boxes, sauce. I could go on. We have prepared for the season like many prudent clubs will have done. I can assure you we are not flush with cash and I doubt many would be. Take Abers as an example, they have 600 paying players, and yet have been known to pay senior men with the next years junior subs. The money is simply not there. And in any case, local sports clubs are not-for-profit organisations. I'd say the ATO would be interested in anyone that has $200k left in the bank after the season.Colonel , the insults are not necessary. Some clubs that are run well do have a sum ready to go for the following year. Some clubs will continue to run social functions to bolster the bank with or without football.
If you have stocked your canteen already , please alert us all of which club this is to ensure we dont buy stale , moulded , rotten product when we visit your club canteen.
I would now believe that your involvement with a club gives no importance to the improvement of the facilities and instead love standing up in front of people to collect the $6 medallion for your own self satisfaction.
Which programs? It can only be Jets and or Cannons? Thats a shame they need all the training they can get!EDFL umpire training has been cancelled.
I haven’t heard that one on the clubs media sites. They are saying nothing yet been decided. Most clubs postponed season launches but no other news.VFL being suspended. If local footy doesn’t follow could be huge for some local clubs with quality VFL players aligned.
There is no way the season will be starting as scheduled, clubs are already starting to cancel training. Other sports have suspended all competitions.
The AFL will also be lucky to get through a round or 2 before having to suspend the season.

Probably play 9 rounds so they play each club once. Top 2 play off in GF if there isn’t enough weeks left.I’m hearing no play until at least end of May and no promotion or relegation this year.
