Another handful of players on the move from Clifton Park - a couple of inside mids and a backman.

Mango, you might have to pull the boots on again mate!

Thank goodness you're not walking around with the calculator for your club!

Playing coaches aren't treated different to any other player regarding points. They are judged individually on their past playing history
Johndoe, Thats what i meant......Player coaches would obviously attract more points Grima, Chapman, etc. those blokes would chew up between 5-7 points each. Vezpremi was calculated at 7 last year.

It's got nothing to do with whether they're a playing coach or not. It is only about their playing history

Castello will be 1 or 2 points for Marby next season due to years that he has been there

Grima will be 6, Chapman 6, Hardingham 5 or 6 depending on when he last played an AFL game

The fact they are coaching has no impact on points

Johndoe, I agree that coaching has nothing to do with points playing or not. Try to put together the best 22 into 48 PPV for Strathmore, Greenvale, Pascoe, Doutta, Aberfeldie, Keilor Once all the recruiting has been completed by those clubs. Strathmore (Grima & Firritto = 12 points) My point is will clubs be able to fit the best 22 into 48 PPV if all available? keeping in mind that players switching clubs will attract 3 PPV

It would seem another quality mid-fielder heading to EDS with Brad Langtry returning to the club. From memory played there 2 years ago when they got relegated. Not sure where he played since then but good pick-up. I would assume a 1 pointer but not 100% sure. On paper EDS mid-field depth up there now with AB, KR, PV.

I'd suggest most clubs would have been aware of the potential shift to 48 for 2017. Even if they weren't a drop from 50 to 48 isn't anywhere near as significant as the plan for 2016 when some clubs were preparing for 60 points to only be hit with a 50 point cap

Strathmore ran at mid 30's for most of last year. yes, they've added 17 points with Grima, Firitto and Cachia, but they lose points with Mangan leaving and all players that were on more than 1 last year dropping another point.

Douttas may be an interesting one, they operated at high points for most of last year, and im led to believe they had to leave a recruit out because of it at stages.

Deliverybook, yes mate, Greenvale have lost mostly reserves players and some key position seniors. Keilor have also lost approx 5 senior players don't think we have seen the most of movements yet in the premier Div.

Oh and obviously Aberfeldie have had a big walkout from Their seniors...big trouble there

Who has actually left Abers?

Grigg, Langwell, Patak, Lynch - are they the only ones confirmed?

McLean & Johns???

Hardly a big walkout. There's no doubt that they have some cash flows at the minute but i'm sure all players will be paid in full. I wouldn't be writing Abers off just yet, although you doubt they'd be as dominant as they were previously were

Aaron Ford from Keilor off to Avondale Heights, interesting one as he couldn't break into the senior side at Keilor

Called into Canning Reserve on Tuesday night for a look, great to see big Cameron Wood running around, along with Cravino, Rose, Clouston, Harding, Nastasi, Jones, Morris, Smith, O'Dwyer. Several recruits from Eltham and other clubs, as well as quite a few young ex juniors returning to the club, numbers for this time of the year looked very healthy. Great to see Matt Cravino re appointed as Captain, and Patty Rose being rewarded with the Vice Captaincy. Must say the ground down there is looking a treat at this time of year. Will be very interesting to see how the Heights go in 2017 !

Can't see them improving to much on 2016. They have lost 4 handy players in Davies, Byrne, Stretton + exell and even though they have recruited well so far this offseason I think douttas, strathmore, marby and paco have all recruited as well if not better
They might move up 1-2 spots on the ladder next year but I can't see them being finals contenders

Only good players from eltham are Gilbert and Evans, the other two won't play ones. As I have stated before they will be kicking themselves for making the move by around round 5 cos mark my words Mario Bandera will be sacked by then. Never heard someone say a good word about him

Approached at least one rival club about playing there then gets rewarded with the vice captaincy. 6th to 8th for mine Avondale.
Everyones ground looks great this time of year Bomba.

Not too mention Avondale has the best ground in Premier theres a reason why they are Gold Accredited

Hey Kball, agree it's not a bad facility with probably the best home rooms in our area, but not convinced it's the best ground in premier mate.

Patty is the best FF in metro footy by a long way IMO.

So which rival club did he supposedly approach?

You say 6th to 8th . After finishing 9th with 4 wins I'd have thought 6th would be an acceptable result wouldn't you? Also of course you have proof of Rose approaching a rival club . As if he needs to approach other clubs . If you knew the coin he knocked back from Deer Park you wouldn't be criticising him. Oh hang on , yes you would, it's easier that way.

From what I have seen the playing surface at city oval is the best surface by a long way
