Hello all and welcome back to another exciting year for potential AFL draftees, this thread will be dedicated to all things draft in 2021 and beyond. Be on the lookout for player notes, rankings and a rolling mock draft which have become a staple and as always I’m happy to answer any draft questions you may have.

Jacob Van Rooyen. Dees would have to seriously look at drafting him as a future key forward. If he’s available, JT would have to insider strongly. Brown and McDonald have about 2-3 years left as a max. Van Rooyen could develop in that time. I compare him to Oscar Allen.

One player I wouldn’t mind at the dogs
You'd have to trade into the second round to get him. Your leftover picks are matchable to Freo

How come no Amiss in the top 20 eDPS?
He is in that 15-30 range for me with plenty of other players outside my 20 unlucky. I’m a bit worried that Amiss will only be a 3rd tall at the next level and wanted to see some improvement in his work without the ball and multiple leads not just for him to take marks but to create space for other forwards which would be expected of him at the next level.

Adelaide's good at taking players too early with top 10 picks tbf
Given we've rarely had them until recently?
Chayce Jones 2018 (#9), Fischer McAsey (#6)and Riley Thilthorpe (#2) are the only top 10 picks we've had since Patrick Dangerfield 2007 (#10) and Phil Davis 2008 (#10)

I think in that time, the only player that was a reach was McHenry and he wasn't top 10. Jones was close enough but I had Butters much higher on my board.
I think most even at time expected Jones would go later.

Hey eDPS where is your Nov rankings? What is Leek Alleer's range? is early 20s too high?
November rankings will be out either late next week or early the week after, not expecting any new names in the top 20 just some minor movement in the 8-18 range most likely.

Aleer could be anywhere between 15-40, I’d have him in the 25-40 range personally
