Hello all and welcome back to another exciting year for potential AFL draftees, this thread will be dedicated to all things draft in 2021 and beyond. Be on the lookout for player notes, rankings and a rolling mock draft which have become a staple and as always I’m happy to answer any draft questions you may have.

An insane amount of effort has gone into this again, wonder if we will spot the Fox Footy team using it again on draft night

No live trades for PMBangers to stuff up so this went well. I drafted for Essendon, Melbourne and Fremantle.

Whoever drafted for the Lions obviously didn’t take in needs the Lions had the best forward line this year and what does he draft 3 forwards

Haven't gotten to pick 41 yet but both Sonsie and Draper are mid/forward with the hope they can play midfield. Both can play on the flanks and we really don't have many classy mid/forwards that aren't in the best 22 currently.

So we’re drafting for depth now we usually use trade season for that have no problem with one of Sonsie or Draper Preferably Sonsie Still need a defender HBF/wing to go with Coleman and Cheeser was available

Chesser would be good but wouldn't be the end of the world getting two high upside classy mids.

the only real surprise was Morgan Ferres going undrafted after being really good for a struggling SA side in the state series.

I watched the first state game last night, he's far from soft, but I was disappointed he sat out wide on that wing for most of it.

Would loved to have seen him thrown in the guts a bit more

I think he could but when your so skilled on the outside you start to lose what makes you a dangerous player when your play a different role. Could see him going into the guts to play as an outside mid at times but I think wing is the main spot long term.

I was a bit surprised Morgan Ferres didn't get a look in especially in the rookie draft, thought Lewis Rayson might have had some interest too but not to be.
