Can you put this on the front page?
I update the rolling mock every week so I don’t see a need to do so, I missed doing it the last round though whoops haha

Thoughts on Ethan Baxter ? Believe he is a NGA for the Tigers. Thanks in advance

  • An NGA prospect for Richmond he was an AA CHB at the 16 championships but sort of stagnated in 2019 struggling to really show his wares, needs to lift his overall impact on games but has some upside, also a talented cricketer

eDPS ... interesting write up... as you mentioned , the contest between forward and back like this can so often be dependant on what the delivery is like..

How good does the back cope with the 50/50 is what I tend to look for as sometimes they have no hope , and other times the forward is just butchered ..the link up between forward and mids seems to be so important. So sounds like Barrass did well. but Md has lost no friends.

while looking around the site ..an article that was talking about the possible top25 players

'Sandringham Dragons bigman Max Heath is a ruck prospect who lingers around the mark...'

at some stage do you expect someone to do a over view of all the potential rucks ... some must rate Heath is he is considered in and around the top25

I’ve noted players that I’d draft as rucks before but at this stage it’s between Max Heath and Shannon Neale as the best rucks in the pool. Matt Rendell mentioned that he would be surprised if Heath didn’t go top 15 let alone top 25, although I find it unlikely anything can happen for this draft.

Thanks E..

I was more referencing the site than you personally... that they mentioned he was about the mark but not much info..

If they reduce number too far ,it will be only harder for player like you ruck to be taken ... so being around 25 for a ruck would seem hopeful ..

Probably showing my ignorance here but who is that Adelaide based midfielder a few weeks ago that was tearing it up in his competition, getting 35 disposals and bags of goals?

How is he going? Could he be the Clayton Oliver of this draft in terms of being a late bolter?

Tom Powell? depending on what teams are looking for and how 'they' rate him, possibly. But i do not see him going as high as oliver did, purely based on his current size and potential upside? could become as dependable as a neale, and teams need those alongside their big bulls and linking up with their deliverers.

My instant thought was Poulter based on the 'bags of goals'

well if it is poulter he is talking about, then there is every chance he could bolt up the ranks if his form continues, one of my favourites with a huge upside and growth potential (football wise) and maybe even size wise. perfect build (maybe put on a few kegs) for the modern day hybrid midfielder

They already have.

Yes I think he was the one. What are his downsides? I am guessing from your comment he is a bit undersized?

Sam Alvarez seems to be stringing some really good games together on the wing for Claremont. With JL calling out a need for outside run does Alvarez look like a draft able prospect for Freo?

Without a combine invite I highly doubt he gets taken this year with next year maybe a better chance

Just on the academy:

If we don't take him this year and he's available next year: do we get priority access to him next year too?
If he goes outside the top 30 which is likely I believe so.
