Just on the academy:

If we don't take him this year and he's available next year: do we get priority access to him next year too?
All academies had the ability to keep undrafted 19 year olds in their system.

With the Junior competitions going to U19’s, I believe this will continue. Especially with the potential phasing out of rookie lists.

Sam Alvarez seems to be stringing some really good games together on the wing for Claremont. With JL calling out a need for outside run does Alvarez look like a draft able prospect for Freo?

Both Walkers and Western would bring some pace to the outside if given the opportunity, and all 3 are ahead of Alvarez

As much as this statement is true it is naive to think clubs are not following/interviewing kids without screening invites.
In a year like this when it’s likely that their is list reductions and the added covid factor id say it’s extremely unlikely, not impossible but I’m certainly leaning hard the other way.

Zane Trew dropped a fair way back in the mock it seems. Have others jumped him or has his form been a bit underwhelming?

Also, appreciate your work with this rolling mock all year. It's given this crows fan something to get excited about. Hope we go for hollands like you have predicted. Will be interesting to see how he tests at the combine.

Trew is a hard one to rank, his numbers have been solid but not outstanding compared to his numbers before injury last year.

I still like him but not guaranteed depending on which clubs have which picks, if say Essendon had another pick around the top 20 I’d see them looking at him.

Similar sort of slide as Dev Robertson because he doesn't really have a point of difference as a midfielder?

Yeah Robertson has a bit extra going for him, Trew is a better kick than him but doesn’t use it enough.

Seeing DGB and McDonald play on each other, do you think their recorded heights (195cm and 196cm are accurate)? Certainly in photo McDonald looks a lot more than 1cm taller

It’s tough to say but I don’t think McDonald is way out in front in that regard, we should be getting some updated measurements done on the 30th though so that will answer the question

Geelong being very cheeky with 3 digs at bidding, and can you honestly see baldwin being taken....especially still that high?
For the right club yes, Geelong have so many picks they can afford the gamble. He would be pushing top 10 if not for the injury

If Reid, Cox, McDonald and DGB are off the board I wouldn't be totally shocked to see Pies have a crack

Dont get me wrong i rate him highly. His style of play was bullish and he bellitled all around him. With list reductions, possible shorter than ever draft, 2 years out of footy with 2 acls i just dont see it. Massive risk. He has dropped to bottom of my board and i think if he is taken it would be much later. Would love to see him get right/fit and healthy, tearing games apart again.

Thilthorpe or Phillips for swans would be a very difficult call if it comes to it.
A lot difficult calls among the whole draft, it’s very even still hopefully the all-star games help split a few

Definitely will be a bizarre draft.

Also have to wonder how lack of games will impede overall development of the Vic kids across next few drafts

One easy call is Eddie Ford to Brisbane, as long as he’s still on board.

Other than that, our second pick is a free roll, could be Dumesny, I won’t care.
😏

Has Draft Central's SA guy said why West Adelaide's promising midfielder appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth the last couple of months?
He was quite impressive early in the season I thought. School footy perhaps?
Apart from Chamerblain I can’t recall any other West Adelaide mid really looking draft worthy
