Bonner could single handedly run out the ball from our backline. Dual sided smooth mover, sign me up.

No way did Melbourne trade upto 3 to take oliver they just heard we liked him at 4/5 then decided they better investigate and thought he was better. I can see why they are taking him. They have taken some small mids early lately and been burnt scully, Trengove, Toumpas and even Salem still got alot to do.

Parish is small like them, skilled like them, lacks penetration like them and doesnt have a massive tank which a few of those did.

Late mail from Twomey says we are still looking at Weideman seems pretty intent on Francis to us.

I think Francis is a lock for us at 4/5 just whoever else we take is unsure.

Although late mail also said Melbourne were going to do alot of work on Francis day of the draft for 3 or 7 he was unsure

Let's be honest, even if Gold Coast still had pick three, they would still be after Parish, Oliver or Francis. We'll get two highly rated players with those picks.

Who you would take out of Parish, Oliver & Francis should have been a poll. Their styles are dissimilar, but in terms of value there's not much between them. Personally I would opt for Parish because he's such a clean ball handler in traffic and I think he'll be a real weapon. I hoping for he and Francis just like a few others on this forum.

Please no McKay at 5, would almost be as bad as Rioli at Richmonds 1st
Really like Harry M. He is only 17yo. Looks like Tom Lynch. If he played next year in TAC, he would be #1. And he is a Bomber supporter that plays forward.

Oliver/Parish + McKay would be ok. We need mid fielders and forwards, not back flankers.

Who cares about Richmonds first. I want Rioli at Bomberland because he is all class and kicks goals. And he supports the sash. He will be a gun.

So our picks become 5 and 6 while the Swans jump all the way to 3? This new bidding system is rubbish and needs to fixed where it dosent affect a teams draft position.

Just because you don't understand it doesn't necessarily mean that it's rubbish

Callum Twomey thinks will probably take him with 24/25 if he's there.

Imo, it's Francis, Oliver then parish.

McKay lacks the number one attribute to be successful as a tall forward, don't be sucked in by his athleticism. No chance he would be number 1 next. Ironically Sam Petrovski-Seaton is tipped to go very highly at this stage and he looks a lot like a midfield version of Cyril.

We need explosive back flankers, not plodders. Guys like Bonner and Morgan could make us so much more dynamic in the coming years like JJ and Bob have done for the Dogs.

Rioli kicked 14 goals in 9 games at TAC cup level. If you want goals look at Hardwick, Dodge or Kerbatieh at 56. You say Rioli is a gun because he kicks goals (not very many to be a dominant small forward) and because he is class (good in traffic, ordinary kick). Daniel is nothing like the freakish talent Cyril was in his draft year.

What is the #1 attribute that Harry lacks. He is 200cm 17 yo kid that is athletic and has a great leap and pair of hands.

Rioli is a gun and is very similar in his playing style to Cyril. Look at how many tackles he laid and goal assists. Heard he lacks stamina and all the other crap then he wins the 30 metre repeat prints and finishes in top handful in distance run. He is incredibly quick. Ready made for AFL.

The one whose stamina and desire to run out a game is being questioned is Francis. He was forced to play on tall forwards in one of the games and looked like Steinberg playing on Crameri.

I like Milera a lot. He reminds me of Chad Wingard. All class.

Forward smarts, he will be one that has so much 'potential' but never reaches it.

If Rioli is classified as a gun, the. There are 40+ other guns in this draft too. He had one good quarter in the champs and a few decent game in the TAC cup. He is and will be nothing like Cyril. As for ready made for the AFL, he's a twig and will struggle to make an impact in the VFL. Rioli won't make it as a small forward. Winger in the Hill/Jetta mould maybe, but not a small forward.
