Treloar isn't too far off it.
They need more than 1 mate

Treloar isn't too far off it.
I like GC's midfield better, and GWS obviously have the gun forward line (although GC's small forwards are better with Matera and Hall) but I don't like either defence. Its going to be interesting isn't it?
Which expansion club is more successful first. GWS with there KP laden posts or the midfield boat of GC.
Of course its relevant to discuss talls and trading now. The fact is whether Carlisle or JD go crazy we need another tall or two on our list. And I guess we will probably grab a tall with our first selection.
And we're very fortunate that this is a very good year for it. I can't remember a draft with this many key position players
Do we really need to be discussing the mediocrity on other lists in April?
Let's see how our forwardline develops over the year and work out what we need in the latter stages of the year. Maybe Ambrose will cement a best 22 spot. Maybe Carlisle will pull his finger out and start kicking goals. Maybe Daniher will break out sooner than expected. The point is, trying to guess what we'll need in October, then dredging through the depths of other lists to try and find a "gem" (aka someone who's more likely to be delisted than anything) is futile.
Treloar, Shiel, Coniglio, Whitfield, and Kelly will all be elite. Treloar isn't far off right now. They didn't draft Ward but he's still young and not far off elite. Whitfield and Kelly are literally the two classiest young midfielders in the competition.Maybe, I am not sold on him as a CHF at AFL level though, just a gut feeling though, could be wrong there. GWS are miles away their posts are fine (KPP's) but their mids are average to good at most. They haven't really drafted an elite on baller yet.
I'd actually rate Devon Smith higher than Matera and Hall.I like GC's midfield better, and GWS obviously have the gun forward line (although GC's small forwards are better with Matera and Hall) but I don't like either defence.
Smith I see more as a midfielder without the fitness. Hall and Matera will be a deadly combo for a long timeI'd actually rate Devon Smith higher than Matera and Hall.
I think the time for draft discussion is now.
We need to focus on who may slide to our first pick so we know whether it is worth trading it or not. The sooner we get our sights on a potential slider, the more likely they are to end up at Essendon.
Putting names out there is all well and good, but focussing on who may slide at this stage is pretty ridiculous. Perceptions can get absolutely flipped on their heads by 1 or two massive performances, let alone the vast majority of the TAC cup season, the championships AND the combine, injuries not withstanding.
So subtle it slips by even the keenest and sharpest of minds.
I think that was just Andronicus' usual debonair wit.

this morning I sprayed water all over my crotch while washing a spoon...sharpest of wits I am definitely not

Undersized.
Oh, I heard he was an undersized KPFHe's a young Ryan O'Keefe style HFF-midfielder (developing into at least), I'd happily take him in a heartbeat.
