Feels like future 2nd roundet type deal. Carlton would back themselves for that future 2nd to be pick 35 odd for example
If Craig Cameron accepts this he is an imbecile.

Oh that’s right, he has proven to be just that year after year

Not usually but that's where a general search for "Hollands" led me :)
Oh ok. It's weird because if I search Hollands on just the Essendon board the first 4 pages of results takes me back to September 5th and none of the posts are hypothetical best 22s.

How far back are you searching?

So his choice is to go to play with his brother with a team who just made a prelim

or to a team who missed the finals and have not made finals since forever

just have to watch ed and charlie curnow to see how much that connection means
the $$$ difference wont be enoug to chnage that

Would've thought opportunity would be a bigger factor than money. Elijah Hollands at Carlton probably just gets stuck playing VFL like Elijah Hollands at GC.

Not convinced on E.Hollands yet, have more faith in Ollie being a gun player but can never tell with some Suns discards. Looked a bit lazy and soft this year where as last year I thought he was going to be an absolute weapon when he came in late in the season.

Not sure if its related to injury, homesickness or just being plodder material but I'll back in our list team. They've been fantastic since SOS left and I reckon if they're keen on Elijah they may know a bit more than I do re his form.

Train with his brother...

His game will probably be 2 hours earlier on some far away VFL ground.

Moving from depth player at one club to depth player at another club. Strange career choice

Could easily be in the 22 round 1 next year. If we chase him I suspect we have a role in mind, probably as a medium forward who occasionally goes onball. Cunningham and Fogarty have been playing that role for us most the year. Not really massive competition.

Not sure Carlton will be parting with any futures this year, we will need points for the Camporeale boys.

And we’ve only got one pick of value in the late late teens this year which I assume we use.

If Hollands is coming to Carlton it will be for scraps.
