From the sounds of it he's got some issues re professionalism and buy in. I'd assume Carlton think playing with his younger brother will help straighten him up and get him back on track

I think he will flourish if played in the correct position
I will watch with interest. Interesting to see who he will replace in the middle for Blues if that's where he will play. I hope he goes well. Hopefully, it's a wake up call for him. Talent is there.
I could not see him to break into best 22 for Suns, especially in the middle as you suggest.

Cameron talked about him being a midfielder again today so it appears that’s what the club sees him as.
Good luck to him. Gone. I doubt he would jump ahead of Anderson, Rowell, Miller, Humphrey, Flanders.

Tend to agree, disappointing and perhaps a touch shortsighted but the club.
Not for me. He is not in best 22 and his lack of effort pissed me off often. Saving 400K, 1M total with Chol and Burgess. Surely, Dimma will target someone next year.
We have more talent coming in. There is Davies who is still waiting for games. We were always going to select/lose some (similar to GWS).
We can always watch him doing well for Blues, haha. Nah, I prefer watching Humphrey.

Dunno about that though, Touk isn't young but the rest are.
Cripps, doc, Hewett, acres all 28 or over next year and our injury depth in Curnow, Dow are gone.
Even if they all stay fit there's Fogarty/Cuningham spot(s) he would be a favourite for.
So he's coming to wait 5 years until one of those players retire?
Blues need to change midfield mix. If he comes good there’s definitely a spot there, I reckon. He’s a good runner, I think, like his little bro. But a bigger body, better suited to inside. And he can kick. I am bullish.

Dow + Curnow played 27 games between them, including subs. Cripps, Kennedy, cerra, Walsh, Hewett are never all fit at the same time.

They may not be young but he's not exactly a similar type to Cripps or Hewett is he?
Doc/Acres out on a wing is a better shout.
Not sure he'd start as favourite ahead of either.

Neither but there's a role up for grabs there and I'm sure it would be his thinking.
Only a winger like setterfield was for us, to fit him in the team. Maybe not like for like with Cripps but who is? Right now he has to 'win' second reserve mid over Carroll and Binns, after Kennedy, a few injuries and he may well be starting mid with a changed mix and I don't think he'd get that at GC.

Not sure anyone really knows atm tbh. Juniors he was like a Bontempelli type who played more up forward than Bont. Since then he's looked good at stages up fwd but terrible on the wing and great at times in the VFL playing on ball.
Hard to get a read on where he'll end up or whether he's motivated enough to get back to looking like the junior talent he was

Somethings clearly going on with him. Was favourite to go number 1 before his ACL in his draft year. Generally teams don't let players like that go for a pick swap or a mid-late future pick unless something is astray
Pick 22 for him will be a bargain can see him becoming a top 5 player at a club like Carlton

Mate he ran a 5:5X 2KM TT. Nick Daicos is the best 2KM runner at the Pies and he runs a 6:3X.
He is an elite runner, he just hasn't had the opportunity at GCS in his favoured position.
