After much soul searching I've bitten the bullet & bought tix. Sec 425 row GG happy with that. No delays with me. low demand at the moment I think.

To be honest didn't want that last home game to be the last for the year , left at three quarter time for the early train.

I think there will be a miniscule percentage of supporters who will follow through on any stated ban on going to games/opting out of a membership because of Zorkogate, time heals or lessens most wounds.

After a bit of googling my recollection sounds like it is off.
Either way it was very clear at the time that the AFL wanted to sweep the whole thing under the carpet.

In regards to Petty though, I personally couldn't imagine getting upset and crying over something like what Zorko is alleged to have said. If he lost his shit and punched Zorko's head in I could understand but crying over it at 3QT was definitely unexpected. We all react differently to things though and perhaps that is what he felt was his only option at the time.

Also to add to the above, the only thing that really makes sense in this whole situation is that Petty said something equally as shitty to Zorko. I just can't see any other reason why the whole thing would be kept so quiet unless they had been just as bad as each other but one guy took it far worse/more personally.

This is painful, I've almost cracked many times and bought a ticket plus flights but finances won't allow me to travel this game and GF if we make it. So I'm going to have to sit this one out.
Have a soft spot for the swans but I hope we get a win and they lose so I can attend the semi.

I don't know why I keep doing this to myself this year but I have confidence in this game. Think the extra week off will allow us to reflect on the poor approach to the Dees game, refresh and come out strong.
As for changes, there are a few that id like to make but I can't see many changes happening in finals that aren't forced.

Would like to see Dev in the middle replacing Lyons ,( MUST HAPPEN).

Would like to see Lohman in but not sure who comes out.
Maybe the super sub sadly replaces Robbo.

I realise the mood is pretty down (and with good reason), but I am very confident we'll win this game. Think we'll win the following week 2 (unless Sydney somehow upset Melbourne - but I can't see that happening).

Love your optimism and get really heartened when posters in the know such as yourself are confident in our prospects, but we haven't produced on so many occasions, if not all, when the in-the-know posters like our chances. I do hope youre write tho.

I know matho’s stats were okay but i think he was poor when the heat was on. And nobody for him to play ‘cooler’ on at stoppages v richmond.

Totaly need more accountable pressure in the forward line.
Watched the ball run out with Melb. and there where no smalls or wings or mids cooee of the man running away.
That's what did it for me last week.

Agreed. Theoretically this is our hardest game until the GF. Get up here then I back us against Sydney, and back us against Geelong/Collingwood. Then we’d just have to hope one of the others knocks Melbourne out before the GF and we’re in with a shot.

Of course if we win Thursday I wouldn’t put it past Melbourne to lose out of spite just to embarrass us again

MC is the mezzanine/middle/whatever tier, so it’ll be third row back in the middle tier that wraps around half the ground.
