the mayhem across the globe with politics is unnerving. It has a 1930s feel about it.

Syria, Korea, US, France, Russia, China, Ukraine, Mexico and the list goes on for countries lacking stability.

China, Russia, and (soon) US with plenty of stability. Lacking democracy, maybe.

1930s feel to current political climate is spot on. People are fed up with being left behind by a neocapitalist system that only works for the rich, and the rich are running a con-job on where the blame lies and selling fascism as a solution.

I'm a capitalist over a communist but we do not have a sensible balance from a global perspective on:
  • security of supply
  • taxation of the rich
  • taxation of multinational corporations
  • too much power by oligarchs and western equivalents (gates, forrest, musk etc)
  • transfer pricing issues
  • slave labour and minimum wage in developed nations (China and the US)
  • corruption especially in eastern europe, africa, asia and south america
  • a huge issue with fake news, social media and algorithms

A good war seems unavoidable before we wake up and implement a wealth tax and import taxes on nations without a benchmarked universal health care, universal eduction and a minimum wage (as determined by a pre agreed benchmark against GDPP by a UN type body)

What's unstable about Mexico? A newly elected president, from the same party as her predecessor, won election earlier this year in a landslide. Seems pretty stable to me!
