* and their supporters kept DoDo because all the hype on how he’s difficult at trades etc etc made them think that was a positive and they had some trade guru on their hands. All other clubs trade teams kept stroking that ego just to keep DoDo at * as it meant the daily tally of without a finals win would keep ticking.
He might not have needed any help, but it certainly wasn’t single handedly

Formerly lead guitarist for U2. Having seen Bono tackle world hunger he was hired to take on the worlds biggest challenge - making Essendon consistently competitive and stop them from being a laughing stock.
Appears to now have conceded that this in impossible job. The Edge was missing from Adelaide last week and seems unlikely to appear this week against the Dogs.
Conjecture states that the Edge may be trying to escape Australia incognito to return to Ireland.
