I want GWS to beat the Tigers. The melts will sustain me during the off season.

The one & only time I'll be cheering for GWS.
We need to beat Geelong this week & I will be reasonably content with the season. Beating Adelaide will be tough after that so I wouldn'y be too unhappy to see them win a flag if we can't.
But no to Tigers please. It is already starting to give me the shits listening & watching the celebrations over their 'triumph' the other night against the Cats.

What makes you think that? Surely prelims are Friday and Saturday nights, can't imagine it would be on a Thursday.

In all honesty I reckon the winner of GWS/WC has a big shot at the GF. Would not surprise me at all if the Tigers wilt under the pressure of expectation.

Key point you forget is the umps... they are being touted as the next 'fairy tale'. Literally. By the AFL themselves. Warning signs are definitely there.
