Show us the footage of the impeding incident Oscar is under investigation for.

Edit: I think he gets a reprimand. Gasly didn't lose lap time so it wasn't technically impeding but Oscar was on the racing line.

4 teams in the top 4 grid spots is a good starting line up.

The difference between driver performances in the Mercedes, Ferrari and RBR teams was pretty stark. Especially the gap between Hamilton and Russell - Hamilton with a time that was .346 seconds slower than his team mate in a car with the same set up is pretty damning but we've seen all season that the unpredictable nature of that Mercedes has meant that it is better suited to one driver or another depending on the track. This time it was Russell who was able to better deal with the sloppy back end.

Norris pushing too hard on that final quali lap cost him a couple of places while Piastri is continuing his excellent rookie season. McLaren have the most evenly matched highly talented line up in F1 and reckon they are on a trajectory for consistently challenging RBR and Ferrari next season.

And well done Yuki Tsunoda in the last race of the year. A 6th place grid spot is an excellent result for that car with a time .474 seconds better than Ricciardo.

Hopefully the mixed up grid translates to a good race today.

Perplexed that this isn't how it's done now.

Did Yuki get an upgrade that we don't know about

No but Daniel said he lost pace overnight so I am assuming it is something setup wise. They both had an upgraded floor IIRC so that could also have played a part.

Less than three tenths between them in a session that saw Hamilton out as well. I wouldn't read much into it.
