He had a 43 second pit stop, they had to jack the car up 3-4 times as rear right wouldn’t go on. That totally ****ed his raceHow did Ricciardo end up in 18th?

Holy crap, that’s insane, Bearman did an incredible job considering the circumstances
Despite being in the middle of deserts, there is something about the Middle East races - much like Las Vegas - that leaves me cold. I think its just the over-hyped manufactured plasticity of it all and dollars over tradition.I’ve just watched the replay and I knew Sky F1 were going to be insufferable with another Britt in the race but FMD I’ve never heard such a one sided bias call. Makes blues radio last year look very even handed. Omg I just wanted to throw stuff at the tv, Crofty is totally pissing me off.
Htf did Nando not get a penalty for a jump start? Oh he’s British that’s why.
Well done to Oscar

Thanks, would be nice if the Brits would tell the world some of this information. Something has to be done about Sky f1. I tried to watch on the F1 app but the picture quality is terrible. He had a 43 second pit stop, they had to jack the car up 3-4 times as rear right wouldn’t go on. That totally ****ed his race
didnt watch f2 last year did youNot a bad race to watch.
I enjoyed watching Piastri struggle then overcome his vehicle.
I enjoyed watching Cheko actually use the car to somewhere near its potential.
And then I get stuck in a quandary. Bearman. He’s British. But right now he exhibits none of the things that make us dislike the British drivers. Like the overt arrogance and whinging from two in particular.
At the moment I like him.
P.S. Hope Dan is enjoying his time driving, because he has 22 drives to go. If he’s lucky.
Yeah and he did the same thing last year at that exact same corner with Oscar. He’s a dirty campaignerWatching the race replay now and wanted to say that, you could clearly see HAM open up the wheel into PIA mid corner. Such a ******* sore loser when it comes to racing in traffic.
Can she appeal?Offttt thats gotta hurt:

F1 Academy: Doriane Pin loses victory in Saudi Arabia after failing to realise race was over
Doriane Pin penalised for failing to notice F1 Academy race in Saudi Arabia was over; French driver handed 20-second penalty and drops to ninth with Britains Abbi Pulling elevated to winner; Sky Sports F1s Damon Hill criticises decision, saying lights should also indicate end of racewww.skysports.com
Yeah from the reports I've read she was asking the team how many laps were left after she had crossed the finish line (The chequered flag was really hard to see according to a few of the drivers) and the team were too busy celebrating amongst themselves to respond to her to let her know she had won.....I was watching it, was wondering why she was still going flat out. Even the team had no idea she was still going. Was a worry if anyone was out on the track back at the start/finish line.
There's obviously a reason such a rule exists with such a penalty so harsh but I'd be filthy with my engineer if I were her. That's not good enough from the pit wall.Yeah from the reports I've read she was asking the team how many laps were left after she had crossed the finish line (The chequered flag was really hard to see according to a few of the drivers) and the team were too busy celebrating amongst themselves to respond to her to let her know she had won.....
Really sounds like a massive brain fart on behalf of the team here...
Yeah i was, i feel sorry for her.Really sounds like a massive brain fart on behalf of the team here...
If you haven't seen it, that's what they had to do so she'd slow down. Why can't the marshals wave red flags when the race is over? Surely that is easy enough to implement to make sure drivers slow down so a repeat situation doesn't happen.
It would be better served as a fine and points on the licence rather than a race penalty IMO - by definition the race has already finished at that point so penalties against your prior performance seem ill-fitting given you haven't been advantaged in the race by your actions. There's obviously a reason such a rule exists with such a penalty so harsh but I'd be filthy with my engineer if I were her. Where’s bono when you need him? There's obviously a reason such a rule exists with such a penalty so harsh but I'd be filthy with my engineer if I were her. That's not good enough from the pit wall.
Stuffing his ears full of cotton wool as to not hear "Bono these guys are faster"Where’s bono when you need him?
“Get in there Doriane”
And what makes it look even worse is that they have already have a precedent for such an incident...its normally a 10 place grid penalty applied to the next race, which is what the penalty should have been here as well. Pin should have kept her win and then got a penalty for the next race.It would be better served as a fine and points on the licence rather than a race penalty IMO - by definition the race has already finished at that point so penalties against your prior performance seem ill-fitting given you haven't been advantaged in the race by your actions.
