So do we have Jaxon Cooney, Levi West, and Max Darcy due 2026?

Then who is next year (2025) - Eagleton, Lake, Gia?
Looks like Cooney, West and Darcy likely for 2026 just Eagle for 25 but not going that well going by this thread

I wonder if the cat B rules apply to players who may have nominated for the draft before but didn’t get drafted. Young Kellet - strikes me as someone who improved a lot last year and if he keeps developing that way could be a late bloomer. Would be great if players can join Footscray and if they show something Cat B them and develop them. A fair few of our best players were late bloomers: Morris, Moyd, Dickson all good players.

We can also look at the father sons invited to the training camps to see who we are looking at. One who looked a nugget like his dad was Robbins. What year is he?

And Cohen Lake - is he 26?

Is it even possible to match for all 3 in the new bidding system?
Hate to break it to everyone but if we're talking about 2026 draft relevant players, for these players to be good enough we'd have been hearing about them by now through various rep squads or at least junior squads.

Obviously things can change but the chance of these players making it onto our list are remote (yes, even two years out and with things being able to change a lot within a year, let alone two), let alone having to worry about having "the picks" to match them, which is really only relevant if they're top 30/40 worthy selections, which they're nowhere near even getting on a list, let alone being a top player.

I thought the 2026 crop were being talked up and making their rep/jnr squads? Cooney, West and Darcy. 2025 crop not so much

This is a starting point - none of the names made these squads.
Both Jaxon and Levi has injuries early this year
So guessing they didn't get up to Under 16 form

West was in the Under 15's National team last year for reference

In fairness to Levi West he was All Australian in his age group last year and was injured this year.
