Favourite Aussie Movie

I don't think I saw anybody mention Children of the Revolution? Did it have an alternative name? Was it an Australian production? It seemed to be. I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite, but I thought it was a really good one.

Oh yeah Children of the Revolution is another good film! Its Australian, only one non-aussie in the cast, can't remember his name but he plays Solyeri in Amadeus.

Glad to see someone else give this a mention, top film.

Also in a similar vein, the 'Smiley' movies. Now way are they great films by any means but they're favourites because they are just sooo 'Orstraylian'.

Year my voice broke is my fav Aussie flick.

Another good one (even if it was only a tele-movie) was 'The fourth wish' with John Mellion. He just gives an outstanding performance as the father.

Quite liked the young Mel Gibson in 'Tim' as well.

Death in Brunswick was a top flick.

I had seen Broken English before Dear Claudia and thought it was very good. Aleksandra was a standout, quite stunning actually, which is why I hired Dear Claudia in the first place.
