Hoegarden.

Buy it, I have shares in it.

You'll be doing me and yourself a favour. :thumbsu:

One of the most average tasting beers I have ever tried on tap, it's just a whole beer of average and meh tastes.

Get out while you still can. ;)

AS a side note, dont buy Premium Blondes. Even getting it 6 for $10 hasnt made them any easier to drink.

Right now, it's my Brass Balls Brew special homebrew, done at the big homebrewer I've previously mentioned in this thread. I've goven away over half of the stuff that I've brewed and the feedback has been one of "headkicker"...so two on a school night should do nicely.:D

Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout goes nicely, as does Murray's Porter - find it if you like your darks, you won't be disappointed.

Of the Oz beers, James Squire IPA has been my fave for a few years now. Their Porter is good too.
Bottom of the barrel would have to be Coopers.

Of all the international beers, well I've tried shitloads over the years and top of the list would be Paulaner.
Big fan of Japanese beers too; Yebisu, Sapporo, Kirin. Anything but Asahi.

Having said that, some of the best beers I've had have been from microbreweries rather than mainstream production line labels.

Dude, San Miguel is from the Philippines. Spanish name from their ancestry.
Yeah I know, but the San Miguel from here is different to the San Miguel from the Phillipines. It's brewed over here and is much better.

Right you are.

San Miguel in Spain has the same origins as San Miguel in the Philippines. However, since 1953 the brewery in Spain has been under separate ownership and no longer has any connections with San Miguel Corp. Philippines. The beer in Spain is brewed by San Miguel Fábricas de Cerveza y Malta S.A., part of the San Miguel-Mahou group

Interesting, I don't recall seeing it over in Spain. Probably because I was too wasted on all the good Sangria :)

Try the Gippsland Gold, its way better.

The Supershine - kickin' it at around 11 or so %.:thumbsu:

Seriously though, the Grand Ridge stuff on the whole is pretty darn good.

If you're able to cast your gaze part Liquorland, Safeway Liquor, BWS etc etc you shouldn't have to drink shit beer.

beez neez
miller chill
little creatures

at the pub gotta go TEDs on tap. mhmm.

please tell me you're joking about miller chill. I resent having to have that beer stocked in my fridges at work but i have to since it is "core range"...I'd rather drink west end than that rubbish.

Its on sale now at Not Quite Right. Might pick up some if it is cheap. Not the best tasting beer in the world, but something different... to say the least.
