Really looking forward to Alligator Blood vs Catalyst vs Dalasan today. Would have been more excited if Super Seth didnt squib it but you cant have it all. A big watch race for me though as who knows how good Catalyst is. Dalasan a little forgotten in the markets, there is not that much between him and AB.

AB - Does not have a sharp sprint but can take a position and high cruising speed should be hard to run down
She's Ideel - Looks an incredibly exciting stayer
Nature Strip - well suited down the straight over 5, can roll along and extend at his own speed against a terrible Gp1 field

So You Think, Black Caviar, Winx, Makybe Diva, Might and Power...our champs don’t half get dud names. About time we had a great horse with a great name. This blokes over half way there.

Say what you like about the trots, but their champs tend to get much better handles. Why is that? Their owners aren’t pretentious arseholes?

Most exciting race of the day, for me. I'm happy to take Alligator Blood at anything over $2 but it'll be interesting to see how Catalyst goes, and if Dalasan has any improvement left in him
