Fevola a Lion

Fevola is a champion player he just enjoys the drink a bit to much. Browny will straighten Fevola out. Vossy knows what he is doing show faith Brissy fans. Fevola deserves a shot at redemption and he will get it at Brisbane if the trade goes ahead. Rischa is a loss and I feel for Bradshaw as he is a great bloke but meh we need to look after the Lions more so than players.

From a business point of view, this is an awesome trade for the Lions. Bradshaw won't play on past next year if he is traded and Rischa unfortunately hasn't lived up to our expectations. Fevola and Brown in the same foward line is absolutely insane.

From my point of view this is horrible! We all love Bradshaw and after watching the final quarter of our elimination final again, it was him who got us over the line. Where the **** was lazy Fevola? He is a legend of the club and I'd hate to see him in a Carlton jumper.

Very torn right now and don't know what I should be thinking!

Im gonna go tomorrow to put some big money on Brisbane for next years flag ... they are beginning to look like a State of Origin side ... Brown and Fevola in the same forward line like in the State Of Origin game where they both dominated and complimented each other ... Goodluck to the opposing teams !

You ****ing little beauty if true. :)

Could not understand those against getting Fev when I saw some of the other names being bandied about (unfortunately we have picked most of them up).

Fev makes us an instant 3-4 goal better side.

Amazing trade if true. And to only lose Bradshaw (sad to see him go but his time is ticking) and Rischitelli (who has never stepped up from a solid C+/B grade player).

:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Bring it on!!

This is the most sensible post that i've read in this thread so far. End of the day, it's business... Premierships / Finals means increased memberships and that in turn means profit etc etc

Vossy as a new coach is searching for the ultimate dream, a premiership. If he thinks that these guys are the people he thinks will ultimately help him achieve that goal then by all means I say hallelujah.

I've never really liked Fev either.. but take him away from the environment and his behaviour can change. I only hope it does because it will mean finals for the next 3-4 years for the Lions.. not like the wilderness we've been in for the previous 4 odd.

All i'm thinking about like some of the others here are the positives.. imagine Drummond -> Rich -> Brown/Fev.. i'm excited by the prospects. If this deal does go through i'll be putting money on Lions for the flag next year as well.

Having met Vossy a few times when he was doing leadership training, the guy is on the money.. he's not the idiot some people on here make him out to be.

Go Vossy! :)

If this trade goes through, watchout any team travelling to the Gabba to play the Lions!

Seems a fair trade to me but Brisbane will benefit very well.

The minute Campbell Brown was mentioned as a trade deal with P.A..the SEN phones lit up!...Their supporters went wild, and as a result Hawthorn have back tracked!..Won't happen..people power won the day!!..Well done Hawk fans!!...I admire you!

My point being, do we just sit back and see Bradshaw just shunted away, after all his wonderful service, and welcome this flawed idiot in his place??..So, Fev can play footy, yeah, I know he's pretty good at it too!..But, does Bradshaw deserve to be just got rid of, cos it suits?....Yeah, cya Braddles, thanks for everything, but the door is that way!...Geez, we look after our loyal players don't we?

Are we so desperate that we risk all our club stands for, doesn't matter the influence he has over our other players, particularly the young, who might end being impressed by his notoriority??...

Aaahhg!!

Your kidding yourself if you think Carlton are getting r*ped, this is a fair deal on both parties if true because you get a good midfielder and super forward whilst they get the best FF in the competition. Face facts you didn't want him at the club anymore so your just lucky Brisbane did.
What are you smoking, this is a shocking terrible trade. I say if Voss gets that deal he is a genius and knows it.

Can't believe the majority of Lions fans are against the trade. I'd be rapt if i was a Lions fans. Wish the Dogs had made a similar play for Fev instead of Baz.

Although a massive d-head, he instantly makes the Lions a 3-4 goal better side. Although Bradshaw has been a great servant, Fev is 2 years younger and in career form. To get him and keep your 1st round pick would be an amazing achievment. Personally think Rishcitelli is overated, so wouldn't be fussed at his departure.

Far more perplexing is the trade for Amon Buchanan rather than Fev.

Agree with everything you said.

I reckon Voss is the Crazy Warehouse guy from the Chaser's War on Everything during trade week!

Seriously though if this is true I'd be bitterly disappointed to lose Bradshaw but (and no disrespect to Daniel here) Fev is a step above and has more years left in him. It'd be a very smart move purely from an on field performance view. Whether the culture suffers is another thing but Voss must see enough positives to think it's worthwhile

Riska needs a change of scenery imo and good luck to him, but i'm not overly sad that he's leaving.

Fev a lion sounds good.
Hate to loose Bradshaw or riska though. but fev would be easily kicking 30 more goals a year than what braddles would be so if we want to win more games and become top 4 side, he is the way to go. Don't know if he wants to be outter state....
