Mac25 - you need to realize the true value of players in a trade scenario, not just pump them up like most of the muppets on BF.
Yes he is a Carlton player
Yes he has won Coleman medals
Yes he is in our top five players

But he disrupts the team
Shows petulance of a 5 year old
Cant pull himself together off field
Has lost the respect of the coaching and playing groups.
He is 29!

Fev is worth no more than ROK and a second rounder!
It would be nice if people stopped pumping up the tires of their own players when it comes to trade time. Be realistic people....

l am looking at Fevola's valve on the field and his valve on the field would be a top 5 pick & a player, and this is why any potential trade will not happen because his valve is diminished because of his OFF FIELD behaviour and Carlton will always be the losers in any potential trade and this is why it will not happen.
If you also look at the Chris Tarrant trade to Fremantle, Collingwood obtained a top10 pick & Medhurst and l would suggest Fevola is a significantly better performing forward than him at the time so not sure how you draw your conclusions.
He is a hugely important player also because Carlton are completely devoid of any young potential forward talent on their list and this is another reason why he will stay.

Sydney get Brendan Fevola
St. Kilda get Ryan O'Keefe

As I said, this is a far-fetched proposition that does not seem likely following the Carlton trade for McLean.

If this is right, there's no reason to include St Kilda (with the McLean deal as good as done). Minus St Kilda from the equation and Carlton and Sydney can just swap Fev for ROK. I'd do it. If Carlton agree to pay some salary for Fev then Sydney can add their second rounder into the mix.

Saints Maybe as they have indicated that they are after another key foward (President Westaway said this after the GF), but I doubt the Hawks would. f$%k me, we are now the carlton of the last two years, or the collingwood of the yers preceding. Any time a rumour about a player leaving we are linked, just, well because. This is stupid.

Fev won't go, it's a ruse from Carlton to scare the crap out of him, let' stop with the million threads.
