This might seem stupid, but I've loved the grand final sprint since i was about 10 years old. Who won today? Danger?

PS, anyone have a copy of it?

Danger won in an absolute canter.

Yep, Dangerfield. Coasted to his 3rd in a row.

I do agree, but if there is no mention for us over the coming days it will hurt no doubt. At the end of the day for him it won't matter, for all our fans it will though, that's all I mean

You sound so ....needy. Brian Lake is a Hawthorn player now, he relinquished his right be considered one of us, toughen the f*** up mate.

Wow, bad day or something? My post was mostly tongue in cheek, settle down hero

I disagree. Someone who played as many games as Brian did for us will always be considered a Bulldog to me.

Guess Gary Dempsey made a similar move when he went to North - nobody disses him

I suppose I should elaborate;

3. Gunston: was the differences between the two sides at half time and did everything right basically.
2. Hodge: everytime the ball was within a 20m radius of him he turned it into a positive for his team, weather he bet his man or allowed a team mate to come in and win possession.
1. Lake: He only gave the one to Lake because Freo let him play alone down there all day, and played into his hands perfectly. He still had to get the job done though, which he did and was why he got a vote.

The way he described it so we elegant and purposeful, the man could sell dirt to the Arabs, or water to Poseidon.
Clarkson seems to agree with him, gave Gunston a big wrap after the game. (Heard on radio)

Hey, I'm doing a great job avoiding most of the post-game revelry, reports, interviews, summaries etc on tv, since the siren :)

The best-performed team for the year won the GF

Just as it should be

Ballantyne, Crowley and the negativity of Lyon failed yet again

Part of me is very pleased by this. The other part wanted Freo to win for their fan's sake.

And for Pav. But I do take comfort in Lyon going flagless again.

Refreshing perspective. Completely agree.

Are we so pathetic at the Bulldogs that we are meant to be proud of someone who admitted he gave less than 110% while at our club and then finds success elsewhere? Maybe we can forget our own premiership and just be grateful for being a top feeder club (Lake, Ward, Hill, etc) - hell, we can even forget the premier league & just go back to fielding our main team in the VFL! Maybe if we're lucky enough, Bwian might bring the cup & his medals along to our next family day to show us all.

Grand final sprint is a no contest, Danger keeps competing, and clubs like us send players like Macrae and Picken

If only Lin Jong hadn't gotten injured, quickest at our club.
