Danniher, Hipwood, Cameron & McStay only 10 disposals between them in H1. Not gonna win many games with main forward targets missing in action.

It’s a really interesting difference in strategy. Jeremy Cameron hasn’t had a heap of opportunity up forward, and now we see him further down the field, even in the back 50, racking up touches. Not necessarily damaging, but at least getting a feel for the footy.

We saw McStay briefly up the field when he was in the ruck, but beyond that the important Brisbane forwards have been nowhere near it.

I really just do not think Fagan is any good

Lions are playing awfully. Playing straight into their hands. Slow build up, kicking long, giving them easy lateral kicks to set up… they like they’re content with their season finishing here.
It's unbelievable. They started this slow safe way against the Dees and were very lucky to not get blown out of the water in the first half. They sped up and took the game on in the second half and won. Did they learn nothing?

What weight does this poor performance have against his two strong previous ones?
The whole Brissy side are putrid at the moment.
Playing like virgins on their wedding night.

Looks like Daniher was a mistake. Their Forward line looks dysfunctional.

Not over yet but they better get some run into them and start playing like they want to win.

We've seen his absolute best this finals series ... It was ok.
We have just seen his worst in that half. A complete non entity.
Can provide handy depth but 5 years at $600k is ridiculous for this guy.

Reminds me of Ollie Henry’s game against the Roos. Terrible.
But….players have good and bad games I hear.
I watch a lot of Brisbane games. He's going on 28. Played over 160 games. He's bog average most of those 160 games.
He ain't no Ollie Henry. I'd rather give the $600K to Henry. Vastly higher ceiling.

This looks like the obligatory soft, bruise free cruise into the GF preliminary final that happens every year. Would be nice if Lions could at least make Geelong earn it.
Yes,yes, yes.I still maintain that West Coast’s walkover win over Melbourne in the 2018 prelim helped them win the grand final against us the week later. The game was virtually over at quarter time, and it allowed them to be as fresh as a daisy when they played us.If you remember in the Grand final we started out strongly every quarter then faded as the quarter drew on,while they got stronger the longer the quarter went.
