I don't understand why they can't allocate the best seats to the highest membership categories (e.g. Legends Club, Kennedy Club). I came out of it pretty well as a Gold member, but have sympathy for others, especially those from higher membership categories, who haven't been as lucky.

yes agreed mate

was initially pretty annoyed but at least ill be there. was lucky enough to be on M level for the 2008 glory but doesn't really matter at the end of the day where we sit, just as long as we are victorious again :thumbsu:

Was reading that the next 1000 members who missed out will be offered tickets to the 'after party' and go on the ground (anyone can attend the after party in the GSS)

if all swans members got allocated seats, will all the on the ground tickets go to Hawks members ? could be a bit sick if Sydney win ???

First time poster, long time follower of BF. I'm a Hawks Silver Family Member & have been fortunate to secure 4 Standing tickets in M11. I'm going to attempt to purchase 2 tickets with my mates AFL membership tomorrow morning (his & his mates full AFL m'ship is Carlton affiliated). If I'm successful, I will have 1xAdult & 1xJunior standing tickets available for purchase. I will keep you all posted. Cheers..

If I've got nothing on my ticketek transaction history and nothing on my cc history, does that mean it's all over? I was in the P3 ballot so would not be surprised if I missed out. Just need to know so that I can now decide how to make it there on Saturday. Definitely thinking about a bronze corporate ticket for $1.4-1.5k if all other avenues fail.

For those that are wondering about their standing room tickets, I got the same ticket for 2008 and loved being in a standing room section but I am over 6 foot so the view wasn't a problem for me. Most people in the bay I was in were moving around every 10-15 minutes anyway grabbing a beer or food, so you can sneak in to a good viewing spot anyway if you're worried.

I'm think they do an initial ballot today. After all has been processed, CCs rejected (sadly), they do another draw for those that missed out. Might be wrong but I wouldn't give up hope

I need tickets desperately :) 4-10 tickets and I didn't enrol in the ballot because my family didn't decide we should go until last night. How can I get tickets? We are trying many different ways but is scalping the best way? Been a Hawks member for 12 years and would really like some help, be kind first post too.

Hello Officer

Don't you have better things to do like catch real criminals?

The real scalpers are the AFL

I'll take both

Thanks Abe. I will be there on Saturday watching another hawks premiership, just hoping it doesn't cost me too much money, but I think my chances through the ballot are shot.

The official yes/no for the ballot is available 9am tomorrow. I guess it's probably all over if you're not successful by then ...

Members can log on to the Ticketek website or hawthornfc.com.au from 9am on Monday 24 September to see if they were successful in the ballot by checking for their Ticketek Account Number.

scalping costs you more like getting in trouble with the law as you have one post how do we know you won't be scalping these seats to make money sorry but seems to be alot of NEW members that their first post is for wanting seats ! we go into a ballot to get a seat for our selves to go not on sell them so good luck maybe you should do the corporate afl packages you maybe lucky there
Its a fair point, and it sucks if other people are scalpers, I am assuming some of the new members are like me just paid-up Hawthorn members who entered the ballot and have missed out. There are 2 of us so the $3,000 it would now cost to get 2 tickets through the AFL is just to much money no matter how desperate I am to be there. Sadly, I guess we will probably miss out but I guess just putting the message out there in hope of a miracle.

i hope that say someone can pass on tickets if any to the real supporters, not the pretend ones , when i see they want up to 10 bells are ringing sorry but i do have cop blood in me , and they are not by law meant to sell above face value i am not sure they are meant to at all on sell them but in my books can not be doing anything wrong if face value .

did not meant to offend if you with my comment , good luck on getting seats .

To all of those people making assumptions here about what that "Sydney Members" issue was, I told you it was a glitch. Nothing more.

It's been corrected and now says "Club Members".

Chill pill people, don't let the hysteria get to you.

I wasn't offended at all. It sucks that so many supporters are having to try and deal with these scalpers or pay through the nose to the AFL to get tickets. And I am sure you are right that they are out there. I just hope a miracle happens for me and some kind soul with spare tickets sells them onto me at face value, sadly I am not holding my breath.

I'll keep you posted. I only concern in trying to purchase the tickets online tomorrow is the previous failures in getting ticketek to accept more than on barcode in the "Enter Barcodes" field. Every time I've tried to enter more than one barcode, it says "Invalid Barcode/s". Any tips?

EDIT: Just found some info on Ticketek website: "Enter each member barcode number on a separate line". I've always tried to enter the barcodes continuously, either with a space or semi-colon in between.

If it's row D (not DD) I'd be as happy as larry. You can see plenty of detail still and you'll get the roar of the crowd from behind and the decks below. You also have less of the guy in front's head in your way as its a bit steeper between rows, than on M/ground level.
Cool as now i am looking forwards to that as i won't have to worry about deafening them or not being able to see Thank you very much

Does anyone know if they generally check for Concession cards at the Grand Final? One of our tickets is concession and they aren't going anymore. Want to make sure that I can handball to an adult or not, or can I pay an upgrade fee to change it to an adult ticket?
I am a concession, and from experience, you should be right to go. If they do ask for ID, it has to have a photo, so something like a health care card won't work.

I am 99.9% sure you won't get checked.

And for the grand final they are not allowing upgrades from conc to adult IIRC.

Yeah, stop entering invalid barcodes.

I'll just say I only have health care card.
