Hi all

I'm a Priority 3 (AFL silver member with Hawthorn club support) and it looks like I haven't had much luck in the ballot. Bugger.:(

If anyone is, or knows of anyone that is looking to offload two tickets, please get in touch. Much appreciated.

Thank you.

You are still a chance with your AFL Silver Membership. If they don't exhaust that AFL members allocation to full members you are in with a shot. Look up info on AFL site.

Silver Hawks members - very happy to get standing tickets.

We are taking our 2 year old to her first GF - if anyone is willing to swap for seats, please PM me to work out some sort of trade. (3 tickets)

Thanks! Can't wait

Yeah, thanks for that Bob, cheers. Still holding out some hope that comes to fruition - but yep - it all depends on how sales go tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Q 35 Row R. Ponsford stand. Up,up behind the cheersquad. Silver seating (two rows off being in bronze)
Gold membership/Priority 1.

Happy with Q (prefer on top view of N/P/Q vs ground level of M). But would have preferred closer to the front of the stand. But could be further back .... or not there at all. Spent 2008 in M next to the cheer squad. Great atmosphere, but I'm not good at following the game's structure from that ground position looking up from goal to goal. Couldn't see the marks or scoring either as everyone got so excited they jumped up every time.... picky picky :)

i know what you mean mate, am also a P1 member and we got Q5. really thought we would've got M level seats at ground level

$300 each, wow...oh well at least we're going and come the first bounce next saturday, it will be fine :thumbsu:
I don't understand why they can't allocate the best seats to the highest membership categories (e.g. Legends Club, Kennedy Club). I came out of it pretty well as a Gold member, but have sympathy for others, especially those from higher membership categories, who haven't been as lucky.

Im with you Ninj... Q50 row P but was M1 in 2008 next to our cheersquad. For game viewing Q deck is not the worst place to be, M level can be difficult viewing. Gold membership... all good, we are there and it will matter very little if we manage to salute!

Yeah, won't matter where we are. I'm going shopping for some more powerful binoculars.

Hey how does standing room work? How can you allocate some steps?
At 08 Grand Final I was standing, the only rule was that there are no rules! No one got asked for tickets where they were standing, I was meant to be in another bay but it was full so I stood in another one that had a bit more room, heard stories that in a couple of bays where trouble started the cops asked for tickets - apart from that its first in best dressed, if you get there by 11am you should get a pretty decent place, but don't move or get someone to guard your space for you!!!

I need tickets desperately :) 4-10 tickets and I didn't enrol in the ballot because my family didn't decide we should go until last night. How can I get tickets? We are trying many different ways but is scalping the best way? Been a Hawks member for 12 years and would really like some help, be kind first post too.
scalping costs you more like getting in trouble with the law as you have one post how do we know you won't be scalping these seats to make money sorry but seems to be alot of NEW members that their first post is for wanting seats ! we go into a ballot to get a seat for our selves to go not on sell them so good luck maybe you should do the corporate afl packages you maybe lucky there

If I've got nothing on my ticketek transaction history and nothing on my cc history, does that mean it's all over? I was in the P3 ballot so would not be surprised if I missed out. Just need to know so that I can now decide how to make it there on Saturday. Definitely thinking about a bronze corporate ticket for $1.4-1.5k if all other avenues fail.

For those that are wondering about their standing room tickets, I got the same ticket for 2008 and loved being in a standing room section but I am over 6 foot so the view wasn't a problem for me. Most people in the bay I was in were moving around every 10-15 minutes anyway grabbing a beer or food, so you can sneak in to a good viewing spot anyway if you're worried.

Got m57 row kk. Pretty close to where we sat in 08 right in front of dew dominating in the 3rd qtr

If I remember correctly they seem to allocate every 2nd bay hawks members and the ones in between sydney
Either way I'm just happy to be going
