Finals ticketing

If you know any Crows supporters who might be interested in getting tickets, there are still some fantastic tickets still available in the Western Stand.

This morning, out of interest I just asked for 8 tickets in the Western Stand and was given 8 consecutive seats in Section 408, Row G . These are the red seats in the Bradman Stand in front of the dining room (usually corporates only). These seats are arguably close to the best seats at Adelaide Oval.

When they said "best available" at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, they were not exactly accurate.

Wow! Well done!!

....and again, just another reason for me to hate the AFL and Ticketek. You'd choose those seats if the system in anyway allowed you to.

I didn't purchase the seats although I was tempted to buy them and then sell 4 of them plus my original 4 seats in section 312. Unfortunately my strong socialist principles prevented me from doing this.

I just tried again and was offered 8 seats in row L, Section 410. Nice work Ticketec.

They're actually above the dining room (the ones on level 3 are actually open air corporate boxes).

Still why they haven't been on sale until now is surprising (though they're at the Category 1 price and not the Category 2 that members had during the pre-sale)

I think that all seats in the Western Stand were classified as category 1 (as they should be since they are as good or better than the cat 1 seats in the Eastern and Southern Stands). As I understand, the seats were cheaper (i.e. $73) due to an agreement between the Adelaide Oval and the AFL who "hire" the oval for finals matches.

So members got the discounted price, the public pay full price. Nice little hidden benefit of the Essential Crows membership.

How disappointing that only 40,000 tickets sold
Our only chance to see our team cheaply at home and still 12000 tickets available
Soft response !!
That was a day ago. And there are still 9 days till the game.
Not sure many people consider 90 bucks cheap either but you may mean in comparison to travelling so fair enough
I'm confident of 50000

A certain allocation is given to North, and after a period any of those tickets not sold are available to anyone. If it was a free for all it would probably already be sold out.

It will be well and truly over 50k, should nudge 53k depending on how close to capacity they will allow.
Historically 1st/2nd week of finals hasn't drawn big crowds in Adelaide, particularly given it's up against the Show. 40k is quite impressive as it is, so am not expecting too many more than perhaps 45k.

The game will sell out soon, dont worry, ticket sales would be around 45000 already. All Category 1 and 2 tickets are sold, single seats in category 3 and seats available in Cat 4 (top rows of Riverbank stand).

The AFL/AFC/Media will get it out there that there are seats available in the Western stand so they will go too. (As people aren't used to getting tickets in the Western stand)

If the game was this Saturday night then it wouldn't sellout but with another 8 days build up then any tickets left will sell like hot cakes early next week.

We will get at least 50,000 to the game.

Bit disappointed the 100 and even 200 bay seats would not pop up when buying seats with my EC membership on Monday just after 10am.

Oh well, will probably end up in Ridings bar anyway.....

I was offered seats in 100 bays at 10.50 a.m., but preferred higher; eventually got some in 313. Others here were posting quite early that they got good seats in 200 bays. It's a shame we weren't able to choose from the start.

50,393 v Essendon in 2009, 44,849 against Sydney in 2012 last two examples to go off.

That was in the AAMI Stadium era so I reckon we'll top the Sydney game. 48-49k is my guess.

I will be in Sydney for the second week of finals. Do all members of both clubs get access to tickets at the same time or will Sydney/GWs fans have priority for their home game? Assuming we win of course.
I assume it will work exactly like this week and you will get access at the same time

I got into 200 by going over to hindmarsh and got a choice of isle or not that I couldn't do online.

Scored 206 aisle seats online. I can count myself very lucky.

Surely this game will sell out. If we want success as a club this is where our supporters need to step up by turning up and firing up.

Wasn't there also a 2nd week home final against freo in 2012? I remember that being a pretty poor crowd
