1.
Judd - No question
2. Murphy - becoming elite
3. Jamison - structure
4. Gibbs- versatility
5. Kruezer - would play every week
6. Waite - versatility
7. Warnock -easily no1 ruck
8. Russell- pretty reliable -dodgy start to year though... slipping again.
9. Yarran- Slot him in anywhere
10. Garlett - more tricks than any other player on list

I know this is tough, and i'm not having a go at you, however IMO you have to have simpson - so consistent and so reliable (except that one kick that we won't mention) - week in week out he gives us everything.

Going to take a different approach. Judd is easily our best player, but i think his absence can be covered now by Murphy and the other midfielders more easily than us losing a quality KPP.

1. Jamison
2. Judd
3. Kreuzer
4. Murphy
5. Waite
6. Gibbs
7. Simpson
8. Garlett
9. Bower
10. Curnow

Russell and Yarran unlucky.

Correct.

We lose Jamison we're stuffed. Midfielders, even as good as Judd - who would be a massive loss - however the burden can be carried by many others.

Jamison
Warnock
Waite (as infuriating, dumb and selfish as he is)
Judd
Murphy
Robinson
Scotland
Garlett
Simpson
Yarran

Too dificult, here are my auto selections when fit. Hmmm turns out there are 22 of them.

Judd, Murphy, Jamison, Bower, Waite, Kreuzer, Warnock, Curnow, Garlett, Russell
Laidler, Betts, Simpson, Yarran, Garlett, Gibbs, Scotland, Duigan, Ellard, Robinson and Walker, Carrazzo

Depends what you're after but for team structure, you'd need a:
Ruckman: Kreuzer
CHF: Waite
CHB: Bower
FB: Jamison
Judd: Judd
Midfielder: Murphy
Utility: Gibbs
Foward: Garlett
Mid defender:Russell
Plays for the jumper: Simpson

B4F had the right idea I think, so I've gone with a similar scenario:

FB Line: Michael Jamison
CHB Line: Paul Bower
Centre Line: Chris Judd
CHF Line: Jared Waite (Unlucky Garlett)
FF Line: Eddie Betts
Ruck: Robbie Warnock
Inside Runner: Marc Murphy
Outside Runner: Kade Simpson (Unlucky Scotland)
Defensive Runner: Bryce Gibbs (Unlucky Russell)
Versatility: Matty Kreuzer

I've picked mine in terms of structure.

1. Chris Judd - can't go past him.
2. Michael Jamison - he makes our defence.
3. Matthew Kreuzer - a game is won and lost in the ruck.
4. Marc Murphy - key outside midfielder.
5. Bryce Gibbs - versatile tagger and ball-winner.
6. Jarrad Waite - can be used to shut down a power forward or kick 6.
7. Paul Bower - running defender with the ability to win one-on-one contests.
8. Kade Simpson - versatile midfielder that can go back or forward if need be.
9. Eddie Betts - goals win matches.
10. Jeff Garlett - as above.

1. Judd
2. Murphy
3. Jamison
4. Kreuzer
5. Simpson
6. Gibbs
7. Warnock
8. Garlett
9. Waite
10. Yarran

  1. Judd
  2. Murphy
  3. Jamison
  4. Warnock
  5. Gibbs
  6. Waite
  7. Russel
  8. Garlett
  9. Betts
  10. Simpson
Kreuzer, Houlihan and Bower get no mention due to injury.

Curnow is pushing for top 10 already

Duigan and Laidler are not far off either.

OKay, I've had a rethink:

1. Nicholls
2. Judd
3. Jesaulenko
4. Doull
5. Koutoufides
6. Silvagni (SOS)
7. Williams
8. Walls
9. Kernahan
10. Vallence

Most from watching games live and via replay, others by folk-lore :)

1. Judd
2. Murphy
3. Jamo
4. Waite
5. Eddie
6. Yarran
7. Garlett
8. Warnock
9. Gibbs
10. Simpson

Geeze that was a lot harder than I thought it would be and I left out several who should be there. Our best 10 these days contains about 20. Good signs.
