I've done my Achilles, completely snapped it. Usually snaps from a standing start then a quick short burst of speed. You hear it and look behind because it feels like someone kicked you. Pain is extreme but short lived. Out of business for a few months but after surgery and physio, there should be no lasting problems. My Achilles is stronger now than it ever was. I have full confidence I couldn't snap it again if I tried.
