The reason we get no Melbourne games is because of their lack of travel. They have to make them travel more so force them to come here. It jst means we dont get any practice on the G. The league is out of whack

We finished several spots ahead of them and got the same number of Friday night games as they did (1) despite having a much better supporter base than they do (unlike GWS)
Yet they're the ones who have been hard done by

We play ten games on the road every year.

The complaint is that only four of them are in Melbourne, compared with five or six most years.

Most of that is due to our travel burden though
In terms of who we play twice - we have the equal 3rd toughest along with Sydney/Port and behind Adelaide/Richmond
I don't think we have been hard done by
But nor have we done well (unlike Geelong/GWS/Pies/Bombers)
It's a fair draw

How the **** do richmond get an easier draw than us !
I thought the top 6 bracket get double ups against other top 6 sides esoecially the premiers . But richmond get doubles against geelong ( both at mcg ) and Adelaide in the top 6 , collingwood ( bottom 6 ) saints , essendon ( middle 6 ) .
14 mcg games and only travel 5 times

that's a rigged draw to maximize attendance and $ not equality

Vic bias is crazy in this draw. Because the shitty vic teams cant bring in a crowd at home to interstate teams we get sent all over Australia? I understand our fixture is a bit out of whack due to the foot bridge but no National TV games of the new stadium? You have to be joking? That’s a joke for sponsorship and for those of us that don’t live in WA. Questions have to be asked?

I believe they asked for no Thursday or Friday Nights prior to the footbridge's completion. There's plenty of Saturdays during the season. Footbridge and public transport of a Sat night v Sunday day would be negligible.

Also hardly encourages the 'footy tourism' they've been banging on about when you'd have to take the red eye out on a Sunday to make it back to work! Has certainly put me off doing to trip over for a game as often as I was hoping..
