Not sure if they'll help but he's a few

Name of player: Patrick Ambrose
Position/s: Half Forward, KPP Forward
Areas of footy they're exceptional at: Elite endurance, strong overhead, excellent upper body strength
Areas of footy they're deficient in: question marks over his kicking, consistency and general footy smarts
Impact they're likely to have in 2014: Unlikely to break into Essendon’s best 22 this season unless injuries occur although he is a mature ager so should be able to hold his own somewhat should the opportunity arise
Ceiling as a player/how likely to reach: An interesting proposition. He is at that “too tall for a flanker, too short to be a KPP” height. To be honest I can’t really see him making it at AFL level although he is practically a Stewart Crameri clone so there is potential.

Name of player: Anthony Miles
Position/s: midfield, tagger
Areas of footy they're exceptional at: winning contested ball, tackling, leadership
Areas of footy they're deficient in: kicking, outside game, not a big possession winner
Impact they're likely to have in 2014: Most likely of Richmond’s rookies to get game time in 2014. Has shown he is able to perform at AFL level
Ceiling as a player/how likely to reach: Massive raps on him as a junior although these have tapered off after being overtaken by GWS’s more promising midfielders. I may be biased but I believe there is still a good chance of him becoming a very good AFL player.

Name of player: Cameron Wood
Position/s: Ruck
Areas of footy they're exceptional at: Hitouts
Areas of footy they're deficient in: Contested marking, disposal efficiency, game sense
Impact they're likely to have in 2014: Like most rookies not going to get a game unless injury strikes, even then Wood is unlikely to play unless both Warnock and Kreuzer both go down. Has proven to be inept at AFL level in any case.
Ceiling as a player/how likely to reach: Although he is still relatively young in ruck terms I simply cannot see him improving beyond his current status as a good VFL ruckman anytime in the future.

Name of player: Sam GrayPosition/s: Midfield, small forward, small back
Areas of footy they're exceptional at: ball magnet, clearances, goal sense
Areas of footy they're deficient in: marking, defensive side, kicking
Impact they're likely to have in 2014: Mature age player so would be serviceable at AFL level. If he does break into the Port side I see him mainly playing a forward role. He is similar to Matt Thomas would struggled to get a game in 2013 and Port’s boosted midfield stocks will make it unlikely that Gray will have an impact.
Ceiling as a player/how likely to reach: Interesting player and one I believe has the skills necessary to become a permanent fixture in Port’s team.

Name of player: Nick Bourke
Position/s: Midfield, half-back, half-forward
Areas of footy they're exceptional at: marking, run and carry, kicking distance, handball
Areas of footy they're deficient in: inconsistent, lack of defensive pressure
Impact they're likely to have in 2014: Very raw and at the back of quite a long queue at the cattery. Will have minimal impact in 2014.
Ceiling as a player/how likely to reach: Surprised he wasn’t taken in the national draft. Has all the assets required to become a good AFL player

Good news everyone. Last night

- Got the last 40 draftees done
- did all the rookie promotions
- added the blokes who moved from GC/GWS
- did the first 25 selections in the rd.

Only 25 rookies to go and then we're ready to go!

Thanks for the work you're putting in mate

So what's happening this time? Releasing to everyone straight away? That would make everyone happy and they will stop bugging you.

Yeah, definitely. The initial closed release I felt would have allowed for more feedback - with a public release I feel blokes will just grab it and **** off without helping correct errors whereas there's a more intimate kind of feeling when it's closed and I think there was a greater sense of obligation.

That said I've kept the public waiting long enough. I'll release it most likely on Thursday as I work until then.

I'm sure you will still get a lot of feedback with an initial public release, I did the same with the PC2011 lists and feedback came from quite a few people.

Sounds great

Yeah if the attempt is to goad me into releasing what I feel is an inferior product then the attempt has failed. 70% of the blokes complaining are blokes who I've not seen in this thread until recently. I owe you no apologies - to the ones who've been hanging on since I started; well, to you I do apologise.

I've still got 20 or so rookies left but I've had the flu for the last few days coming off a rather large bender so quite frankly I couldn't be ****ed. I'll see if I can do it tomorrow but no promises; clearly trying to set targets only frustrates people.

well said skippos keep up the good work and don't worry about these other people

It's not about the delays, it's about being true to your words. If Skippos says I will release them when I feel like it/ when they are ready then that's fine by me, you won't see me complaining.

But if he says I will release them on Thursday, he should not break that promise.
