Will be interesting to see if any of these boys get a run.

Speaking of Cerra. Why did he get a double 50 at the end, the first was on but everyone was running forward with the new mark not even set. Seemed to be players tripping over each other and in the chaos the umpire just went and gave another 50. There was another 50 against a Richmond player at CHB and the Carlton player on the mark didn’t move a muscle but got pinged. I really hope they settle down on these hot 50’s.

I don’t think it decided the result. But certainly made Carlton look better than they were.

Hopefully they don’t get an armchair ride like a few other storyline teams have.

I’m don’t think it affected result but some of them left me quite baffled. I meant to say in my earlier post a Richmond player was manning the mark. He might have held up the Carlton player marginally and very briefly but he definitely didn’t move off the line. They need to bring back a 15m penalty or something shorter if they go nuts on fifties.

There was an obvious one where a Richmond player chucked the ball in the wrong direction obviously thinking Richmond got the free.

If Koops is referring to the one that I think he is, there was no holding up of the opponent. The Carlton player actually feigned a couple of handballs imo to suck the Richmond player in to moving, but he didn't move off the mark, he planted his feet and just swayed his torso with arms out. If that constitutes a 50, then its wrong and a joke!

15 meter penalties are good value for the infringing team. Slows the play. I'd expect lots of that happening every game.

That is the one but I don’t understand the rules anymore. To the naked eye he looked like he had a hand resting on him when he feigned the handball.

If that is the way they want to go, with stacks of 50’s then it sucks and I don’t like it.

They will still be trying their gutz out on The SUNS.... Once that mission is accomplished maybe they will start working on The Aint's
