I would say taking photos of something on mobile phones is instinct, this is what we have become. No doubt he is not a model citizen but I doubt he will be convicted of all the shopping bag of charges. Was their actually any assistance to be rendered?
This is a stupid comment. You have never been in a situation like that obviously. Not going into it but I’ve been involved in a similar thing and it is not instinct to do that....

i was just on the Eastern freeway, drove past the site and there is definitely truck marks in the left lane next to the emergency lane, make of this what you will until we know exactly what’s happened.

This guy is going to go down as one of the state's most infamous crooks ever I reckon.

Thinks he's a tough guy, there will be hardened crooks sickened by that. He won't do well in prison.

or will he have some sort of hero status?

hopefully not

There might be some show but soon as his back is turned, meet shiv. Someone like that can't be trusted and he'd upset the status quo making people nervous in general, maybe they'll put him in a special unit. Or something.

Herne Hill Hammer might know where they'd put someone like this

I'm not sure of the accuracy of this fact as I've only seen it once, but I did see that c**t in the Porsche was pulled over at 4:50pm and the incident didn't occur until 5:40pm. That's 50 mins. Not to criticise Vicpol at all but one wonders if they could have moved this process to the nearest exit ramp where speeds are much lower after they realised how long the impound process would be.

As I understand it two officers pull Pusey over then did the usual car checks & drug test which can take time then they requested back up to take care of the car while Pusey was taken back to the station for the second drug test.

Could the argument be made given the charges of drug and dangerous driving, that he was already in custody or under arrest when the semi came through?

i am not a lawyer but it sounds like mr pusy will be getting a good one

technically he was not arrested (still in the process) and not involved in the accident (wasnt in his car i am guessing)... as far as i can see

again im not defending him, he sounds a absolute twat, typical real estate geezer

He's already dun a short stretch inside, but next time he will have celebrity status. The boys will be waiting.

I wonder if he is still virgo intacto.

The court today heard the mortgage broker from Fitzroy allegedly told a dying Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor: “There you go. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. All I wanted to do was go home and have my sushi. Now you’ve f****ed my f***ing car,” AAP reports.

What a ****ing lowlife piece of shit.

I don't think so. Maybe with Bikies. There is still some semblance of a moral code in jail. Or I could be completely wrong

4 lives lost in order to raise revenue. What a waste.
That was my thought as well
We can only hope.
I can honestly say, that if I had the misfortune to ever cross paths with this person and identified his name, I would lay my fist square into his face and lay him on his arse.
Do you think any cops would pursue the matter?
I’d put my money on Pusey

Unfortunately it’s not Hollywood, people’s wet dreams of vengeance won’t happen. He’ll be under the custody of police whose job it’ll be to ensure he’s not harmed. If there’s any threat of violence in prison (which I doubt, prisoners as a rule aren’t fussed about police) he’ll be put under protection.

Somebody will probably spit on his breakfast or something (hopefully COVID infected) but that’ll be about the size of it.

Not sure why people are assuming he isn’t compelled to provide assistance. His car was damaged in a crash, in that situation, regardless of whether you are at fault or not, you are legally required as driver of the vehicle to remain at the site of the accident.

There's a sizeable portion of the prison population who love any excuse to give a belting. Mr Pussy will probably have no friends on the inside and everyone is going to know who he is regardless of their feelings on police.

It’s not the inmates he needs to be worried about.
This pos will never lead a normal life again. The states biggest gang will harass him morning noon and night and I applaud them.
He filmed a dying person and gave her a mouthful about eating sushi and having his car ruined. He has a very unpleasant future in front of him.
