Current Four police officers killed after pulling over a Porsche 911 on Melbourne freeway

So Victoria / australia has the The fictitious 'good Samaritan' law from Seinfeld?

technically the Porsche tosser was not involved in the accident - does he have to hang around ?

He does because he was actually in the process of being arrested and instead of offering assistance he has acted like a frog by taking footage then posting it online then has done a runner. Had he actually offered help then he would be in a much better position.

What would be the odds though of finding two such hateful and spineless individuals crossing paths at the same time? A killer in a semi and a soulless narc who doesn't even try to help but takes pictures of the carnage before running.

It's too awful.

There's a shitload more of them than you would think.

People are only as good as the world lets them be.

It seems to me that the fate of Mr. Porsche hinges on a whole basket of technicalities. It wouldn't shock me if he slips between the cracks of a few laws simply because of the complex and tragic circumstances of this sad situation.

He’ll be charged with whatever they have him on from the traffic stop, and leaving the scene of an accident. That’s what he did, people wishing for more are just out for blood based on irrelevant factors (who he is, his history, the make of car etc).

Basically, a truck has hit a bunch of police on foot. That’s the situation here. If not for that we’d have never heard about any of this. It would appear Mr Pussy is only really involved by virtue of his parked car being involved in the collision.

Mr Pusey got himself involved when he failed to help people hit by a truck, and instead took photos of four dead people, posted them online and then ran from the scene.

If he stayed at the scene, called for an ambulance and helped with enquiries, his name wouldn't even be known now.

I'm guessing it's being treated as an act of terrorism or similar by the truck driver and that's why they need to search his house?

I reckon they'll be able to stick other charges, drug driving for one

There is a phenomenon where you will steer toward what you look at, when riding a motorcycle you're trained to look down the corner and your body will take you there.

It's possible that this truck driver was half asleep, eyes distracted by the lights flashing on the side of the road and drifted towards it.

It's also possible that this truck driver decided to run over some police.

Horrible stuff.

Right now it feels like that period where that scumbag mother claimed that a gentleman of African appearance with an alcohol scent had abducted her toddler.

The media temporarily plays along but everyone with a semblance of common sense realises that something is not right and it is only a matter of time before the dark truth is revealed officially.

Would the two senior member have been so focused on showing the junior members how the proceedings should play out , that none of their eyes were on any of the oncoming traffic , even if the traffic was supposed to slow to 40kph.

Even if the traffic is slowed to 40kph there will always be rubberneckers that could cause a nose to tail right near them.

Even if you are looking directly at it I imagine it would be difficult to get out of the way of a truck that has swerved straight at you travelling at 100kph.

The charges are:
  • Three counts of commit indictable offence while on bail
  • Driving at dangerous speed
  • Reckless conduct endangering life
  • Fail to remain after a drug test
  • Fail to render assistance
  • Fail to exchange detail
  • Possessing drug of dependence
  • Destruction of evidence
Add in he has been convicted of previous offences and been in jail.

He will be doing time, just a matter of how long.

I'm not sure of the accuracy of this fact as I've only seen it once, but I did see that c**t in the Porsche was pulled over at 4:50pm and the incident didn't occur until 5:40pm. That's 50 mins. Not to criticise Vicpol at all but one wonders if they could have moved this process to the nearest exit ramp where speeds are much lower after they realised how long the impound process would be.

Guessing there will be big changes in protcol now to avoid this ever happening again

swear I’ve seen those plates around that area before...LLC, made me think about what it stood for, was recent too...

anyway, I drive that stretch often and it beggars belief that you’d be sitting up so high and not see the vehicles stopped in the emergency lane, especially on that straight stretch...and, if he’s come from the far right, as suggested, he’d clearly be able to see the police lights flashing, it just seems like an opportunistic crime to me, but why, that’s a different story which we’ll know soon enough.

as for the emergency lane, well, if it was going the other direction then that emergency lane becomes a traffic lane at peak hour, creating total confusion and unwanted danger, another ridiculous and dangerous flaw in our road design...

So only one charge regarding the crash

Will be lucky to get any jail time

Regrettably, being a d*ckhead is not a crime. Although d*ck pussy will be lambasted and be the subject of a severe media and social networking hate campaign, he will be tested on his charges none of which included the egregious act of killing 4 police officers. Until old mate is out of the hospital and his response to the act is revealed, the heat is firmly on Porsche knob

Don’t underestimate the impact sharing those photos and doing a runner has had.
