I don't blame the umpires, it's not easy umpiring on goat tracks with one side having quality spinners and that same side indulging in blatant umpire intimidation.
They are only human and are going to make mistakes in those circumstances.

Does over-appealing help "make your luck"?You seem surprised by this?
I haven't really blamed the umpiring this series these been some shockers both ways but the last two tests we have really got the poor end of the stick and its costing us.

Yes of course it does, if nothing else it might put doubt into the umpires mind whether they are missing leg all the time, or going over the top etc.

If that was Jadeja he would've appealed.
The second shout was as out as the first, hurts even more as you think the bowler may get some sort of benefit of the doubt after having him plumb earlier in the over.

I felt like both sides got some bad ones in the first part of the series, but we've been absolutely reamed in this Test and most of the last one. It must be said though - jeez Lyon is bowling well.

Anyway, we shouldn't worry about umpiring, because "umpires don't lose test matches", so people, if Sachin makes a match-winning 100, don't worry about it

im not a mitchy fan by any stretch of the imagination but close to every ball he put just short of a good length caused india problems. we should not be putting anything full or on the pads. short of a good length or just in a good length should be how we go.
