do we really need Lobb back?
He can mark, and be that escape / outlet kick.
Darcy and Meek can't mark, which hurts us.

Who has a worse injury list than us? If we’re nowhere near the worst there must be half a dozen teams worse off...?Our injury list is now nowhere near the worst, and yes, I'm touching top quality Western Australian timber as we speak!
I think he is elite down the line, serviceable as a 2nd ruck and passable as a forward.in my opinion Lobb is only useful as a forward

Well he fills 2 needs. Is he elite at either? Nodo we really need Lobb back?
100% this is definitely his best roleI think he is elite down the line, serviceable as a 2nd ruck and passable as a forward.
I want to play Lobb as a floating link player that either marks against guys a foot shorter than him and we move the ball better or they bring a tall defender away from Tabs to stand in the corridor by him for that reason.
This and this.I think he is elite down the line, serviceable as a 2nd ruck and passable as a forward.
Yeah this match against Hawthorn is a big one for us, if we win we're going pretty ok if we lose then waiting 2 weeks for players is gonna be very worrying.I don't usually watch those Longmuir channel seven clips on the club website but for some reason watched the one from last night. He seemed to be saying we just need to wait out the next couple of weeks to get guys back. Notwithstanding that waiting out the next couple of weeks will destroy our finals prospects, a little over a week ago he denied we had an injury crisis and Fyfe was emailing us all with some bullshit about us playing a system that doesn't rely on personnel.
There are some worrying muddled messages from the top.
What will probably happen is we win, play some exciting footy, have some individual brilliance and all is forgiven. Change is here, we believe the hype..again, following week play pathetically shitfull elsewhere and back to square one...Yeah this match against Hawthorn is a big one for us, if we win we're going pretty ok if we lose then waiting 2 weeks for players is gonna be very worrying.

Yeah if we don't add anybody else to it for 3-4 weeks we would be near full strength then. Shill doesn't count because I am pretty sure he is all but retired.i remember the season Harvey got canned where went spent the whole season "waiting for the calvary to arrive".
Our injury list is bad but its not disasterous. We have 4-5 best 22 players out and some of them will return shortly. Stop the excuses.
I’d have Fyfe and Logue ahead of most of them.I feel like the big players we need back are Lobb, tucker and 1 of hamling or pearce (other than fyfe). Our season will be defined in the next month, as we have winnable games.

Yeh it’s definitely becoming a hard sell now. Even the injury update butters us up that we are getting fringe players back, then hits us with Hayden young.

Definitely noticeable against St Kilda in 2020 when he injured his ankle. Was a little more unlucky with the hamstring. I do agree a little more game awareness would help Youngy.
Hopefully they have one of these or similar for flights (if they flew him back to see a WA specialist)I wonder if Young stayed in Melbourne after the injury?
Apparently the first 5 days after a serious hammy tear are critical for a successful recover and a flight may not have been considered ideal.
Is that a sex toy?Hopefully they have one of these or similar for flights (if they flew him back to see a WA specialist)

I often wonder why the hell he is so far up the ground .For those bagging Tabernar there is an article in the West online that he has sent the most time on the ground in the AFL this year of any team and run more than 15kms in both the Melbourne and Carlton games. Perhaps he would be a lot more effective if he stopped trying to be a winger and stayed in the 50 metre arc. Maybe it explains why he doesnt always get to the front of a contest and appears lazy at times.
