Scott played 16 games in 99 but didn’t play a final, can anyone remember why?

He also played just the one game in 2000 and I can’t remember why that was either.

He was done.

I realised how shit our depth was in 2000 when he was picked in Rd 1. We got pumped by WC under lights snd that was it.

I have heard that whisper somewhere before. Probably here. I'd be surprised if he leant towards Geelong. After all, they did piss him off to us.

I'm calling bullshit. If he has stated something then it would be a throw off to keep pressure off him.
 
It's not as if this is any great "whisper" either. Some hack has connected Robert Scott missing out in 99 with this quote from Bailey dated the 23rd of January:


"I'm not bothered. Basically, after the footy season it will come down to whether any of the clubs nominate me or not, and if more than one does then there's a decision for me to make. If not, then there's no decision to make," Scott told AFL.com.au.

"There's no factors, wherever I end up I'd be happy with that. Even outside of those clubs, if none of them chose to nominate me and I was drafted somewhere else I'd be happy. The goal is to be on an AFL list and then hopefully playing AFL games early on at whatever club wants me and wants to help me develop."
