I just wanted to mention as we don't have a review thread that Pav was pretty impressive today. Missed a couple of very easy set shots at crucial times which blots his copybook but his marking and general athleticism was outstanding including his crucial spoil toward the end.
He looks to be moving as well as he has for a long while.

Ok I'm an Eagles supporter who always used to support Freo if the Eagles were down (WA comes first against the Vics).
The last couple of years I became more anti Freo as I was surrounded at work by Eagles hating Freo supporters.
Now that you've knocked of a big Vic team I cant help but find myself reverting to my true beliefs.
Bloody well done. I hope you grab the opportunity and stick it to them.
Imagine knocking off the Hawks in the G/F and bringing the cup back to WA, the state will go off.

Watched the game at the Orient and booked my ticket to Melborne for grand final weekend right after the game...FK YEAAHHHHH
Just listening to Terry Wallace on SEN and someone compared the C'wood-Port game and our game. Plough reckons you can't compare the two because what he saw at Geelong today was "grand final like". Played in a few flag sides so that's a big wrap.
As a non-Geelong supporter living in Geelong, I would just like to say thank you for knocking them off their high horse.

Watched the replay now, what makes it even more impressive is that we got pretty badly beaten in the first quarter.

I'm overseas at the moment and have been watching bits of the game all afternoon. I'm in a far flung part of poland drinking a German beer and yelling my guts out for you guys. Prob been scaring the other guests with my boisterousness but who gives a f**k. I'm a mad Hawk but I've always had a soft spot for the Dockers, you're my second team. I'm so proud of your club and supporters, what a win! Got f***ed over big time by the umps and still overcame. One of the best wins I've ever seen! If its not the Hawks I hope it's FREMANTLE. Go you Dockers!

One last thought, so proud of my boy Sutty in his first final today, probably could have been excused if he'd gone missing but he and Neale looked like they'd played multiple finals already.
Such a shame Suban was injured though, he'd been playing a great game up until then.

Watching the game abroad was a very bitter sweet moment, even though we still have far to go its games like that which make all the hard yards we have put in as freo supporters worth it. Very tough being on the other side of the world and not having many people to share the moment with though.
Game wise it was simply inspirational, from the captain who did everything expected of him to young players who weren't intimidated by one of the greatest teams of all time. So very happy!

Not sure if it's the best thing he's done, but it was a massive point in the game and it was a huge effort firstly to get there and then to do it so effectively. The airport was brilliant last night. I think they were expecting a turnout but not like the one they got.

That was an amazing effort. So incredibly disciplined for him to do that so effectively.
