Bad: Umpires, Bombing it forward,

Murphy/Gibbs need to lift. Doing a job right now but need to step it up if we are going to win

frustrating to watch, lots of opportunities thrown out the window and lots of ones we havent taken because we are playing with fear

We're right in there at the moment, despite the score. Very happy with how we're playing so far.

What game are you watching? Everything that was working well for us early started to break down in that qtr. The run from the backline has dried up and we are a mess when we finally get a chance to go fwd. Or are you on the "it's the ump's fault" train?

Gibbs is running around like a little lamb at the moment

We looked so good for so long...Pressure was fantastic!
Went back into our shells a little chipping it around...

Big test in the second half to make sure its not a blow out...
Win the third quarter and we are still in it!

Our problem is we just don't look to move the ball, our tackling and pressure is great but we just are way too slow with our ball movement and that works in the filths favour

The main positive from this is that they have dominated us but we are only 4 goals down, Rats needs to drill it into the players to move the ball quickly

All very well for Gibbs to tag...if he could get the ball himself and damn do something with it. Those dinky one step kicks are annoying too

We need a lift from Gibbs , Hampson , Carrazzo and Waite if we are to win this or get it close again. All have been relatively quiet so far which is not helping us at all. On the flip side Simpson has been great with Juddy, Yarran and Murph with Warnock giving us great service in the middle.

Still to early to call and we have really only had a bad 10 minute patch which saw us get scored against heavily in the later parts of that 2nd Qtr.

Cmon boys the time is now to lift.

A very inexperienced backline and Russell rusty as all hell,fumbling like his first game makes it hard.

One 5 minute spurt doesn't qualify someone as being amongst our best players. Agree on Murphy/Gibbs tho...these boys who get mentioned every week amongst our "all star midfield" need to lift and blow a big game apart instead of leaving it up to Judd.

Russell has been shit all year and has been poor again but looks to be getting better as the game goes on. Still shows no aggression and head isn't in the game. Has lost a lot of pace.

Lack of accountability.

Playing too lose in the back line, Yarran especially.

We're being too defensive on the ball and not attacking to footy enough. Gibbs that's you. Trying to stop the man getting it rather than trying to beat him at winning the ball.

Not going long enough over the zone when going forward.

Hampson can't tackle and chase, it's exposing us terribly.

We have far too many players who's natural game is to play against playing contested footy.

We are being too defensive in the center. We need to be more ball focused while playing tight.

We are not attacking enough and are not using the long kick enough. Short tempo footy, uncontested footy, unaccountable footy is what we are doing and it's gonna kill us.

We need to play tight and tackle hard but when we get the footy we need to break hard and go long and move it quickly, Dennis Pagan game plan style. Must go over the top of the play and back our runners to run onto it.

Wingers and flankers playing on the ball is hurting us. We lack genuine center bounce players.

Gibbs, Murphy, Hampson, Warnock, Russell, Curnow, Robinson need to lift because that was not good enough.

must say, if your going to tag Pend, fine, but ffs dont use Gibbs. Use Carrats or someone. Gibbs is the leading uncontested player in the league over the first 2 weeks, so having him tag, is counter productive

We need to not protect Watto this 3rd quarter. .. give it to him from the kick outs with license. .. At least rotate it with him, instead of Jammo/Rusty every time. ..

Waite hasn't got to see much of the ball but really has been lively when around. We need him to take those contested marks and cause a presence, which I think he is doing admirably
