Well into the second quarter and no gameday thread?

What's happening folks? According to the radio coverage, we're kicking badly, showing no intensity, Davis has done his shoulder, Tippet's well held, and Walker's nowhere.

Anyone tell us how we're going to win this?

Almost zero chance we can win this, they are dominating us on every part of the ground. Our forward line structure is non existent and Sandlilands/ Hill are having a field day

The sooner we get Jacobs into the side the better. Symes should never play for us again IMO

Walker's kicked half our score. I'm not sure what more you'd have him do given the way the team is playing?

Too many passengers. Thommo carrying the midfield. Otten, Hendo, Reilly, McKernan all need to lift.

Half time, what do we do to turn this around?

Bad skill errors (even taking into account the wind), poor at the contests, poor effort from the boys. Thommo the exception, Smith going pretty well for a second gamer.

We need to win the contested possessions, move it forward with greater skill, and actually get some of our forwards lead. Tippett to the ruck, Smack & Walker forward, Maric to Columbia.

So many fumbling errors, we keep kicking it to freo players, not manning up, its horrible to watch. I cant think of one positive unfortunately. We look very ugly

Van Berlo putting himself in, as is Thompson, Knights looked lively early so did Jaensch... but a lot of spectators not making space, not pressuring, looking like deers in headlights.

we look like robots with broken antenna, not sure what to do without signal. i.e. when the structures break down, we look lost.

Watching on TV we are looking very poor, some standouts to be negative, Otten looks concussed, Henderson can't do a thing right and everyone else apart from young Smith is going about 80%!

We are getting a poor run from the umps which isn't helping but adds to the days dilemma.

We are in strife and it is terribly disappointing after falling victim to the media hype and actually being convinced we were a real contender.

Still a half to go but Hill needs to be nullified we need to stop kicking it to Sandilands and we need to lift in all areas, at the moment Freo are all over us!

Apart from his fumbliness and poor disposal, the other thing that is really shitting me about Symes is that on a handful of occasions he's totally overcommitted to tackles and been easily side-stepped. Not smart football.

Poor disposal, bad decision maker, and useless in a run and handball linkup because of these two things. Can't possibly get a game when Doughty is back.

Mackay train12 said it - Hendo is soft as butter. Someone needs to get in his ear and tell him that AFL isn't all about getting on the end of other people's good work and running into open goal.

Positives? Thommo. Vince. The fact that we should be down by 50 points and yet freakishly enough we're not completely out of it if we get our shit together.
